Holiday at the Arboretum opens Wednesday 11 November 2026 and closes Sunday 3 January 2027. This is the final season for the twelve glass-sided 12 Days of Christmas gazebos. The garden bills the run as 12 Years. 12 Days. One Final Chorus.
Four admission products run on the same 66 acres. A household of two adults and two children aged 3 to 12 pays $79.80 midweek by day and $160.00 at night before parking. The gap is $80.20.
What each product costs four people
Daytime admission runs 9am to 4pm. An adult ticket is $21.95 Monday through Thursday and $25.95 Friday through Sunday. A child aged 3 to 12 is $17.95 and $21.95 on the same split. Two adults and two children come to $79.80 midweek and $95.80 at the weekend.
Holiday at Night runs 5pm to 10pm. General admission for ages 3 and up is $35.00 to $40.00, so four tickets cost $140.00 to $160.00.
Night Owl runs 8:30pm to 10pm at $15.00 a ticket, or $60.00 for four across 90 minutes.
Holiday Cheer runs 5pm to 10pm on 26 November, 24 December, 25 December, 31 December and 1 January at $12.00 a ticket, or $48.00 for four.
Children under 3 enter free on all four products.
The child rate stops at 5pm
Daytime admission carries its own child band. Holiday at Night carries one general band for ages 3 and up, so a 6-year-old pays the same $35.00 to $40.00 as an adult after dark.
That band carries most of the price gap. Four night tickets cost $44.20 to $64.20 more than four weekend daytime tickets. The night ticket covers five hours and the day ticket covers seven.
Buy night admission online
Holiday at Night saves with an advance online purchase. Walk-up pricing adds $4.00. The page does not say whether the $4.00 applies per ticket or per order. Budget $16.00 across four tickets until the checkout shows its total.
Night Owl and Holiday Cheer sell online only. A family that drives to the gate at 8:45pm has no Night Owl ticket to buy.
Admission pricing and discounts hold only on the garden's own website. Third-party tickets and promotions cannot be accepted.
Which product to buy
A household that wants the whole grounds buys weekday daytime admission. Seven hours cover the twelve gazebos, the Christmas Village and the decorated DeGolyer House at $79.80 for four.
A household that wants the lights after dark buys Night Owl. Ninety minutes at $60.00 for four is the lowest published total for the evening, and the 8:30pm start suits older children.
Holiday Cheer prices at $48.00 for four across the full five hours. Two of its five dates stand clear of the closure calendar.
Standard Holiday at Night prices at $140.00 to $160.00 for four. The child band does not apply to it.
When to book
The season spans 54 days. Three are closure days: Thanksgiving on 26 November, Christmas Day on 25 December and New Year's Day on 1 January. That leaves 51 operating days.
Choose the date before the product. Admission varies by date and the exact cost appears upon date selection. Holiday Cheer applies its discount at checkout once the date qualifies.
The Holiday Cheer calendar overlaps the closure calendar on three of five dates. The garden sells 26 November, 25 December and 1 January as $12.00 evenings and lists the same three days as closed. 24 December and 31 December carry no such conflict. Confirm the gate before planning around the other three.
Book midweek where the calendar allows. Monday to Thursday takes $4.00 off each adult ticket and $4.00 off each child ticket, which is $16.00 across four.
Where the $15 parking fits
Parking is $15.00 per vehicle plus applicable tax and fees, paid once per visit. Added to four midweek daytime tickets, the day costs $94.80. Added to four weekend tickets it costs $110.80. Added to four Holiday at Night tickets at the low end it costs $155.00.
Members park free year-round for up to two pre-registered vehicles. The garden requires those vehicles registered in advance, and unregistered vehicles pay the standard fee. Museums for All admission includes complimentary parking.
Entry 3 sits directly in front of the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden, and the parking page calls it the ideal arrival point for families. Entry 4 is the garage at 8720 Garland Road with a secure accessible underground walkway into the grounds. Entry 1 is the main entrance at 8525 Garland Road.
Parking on the adjacent residential streets carries tow-away signage.
The family membership against four day tickets
The Family membership is $175.00. It lists unlimited daytime admission for six people, free parking for two pre-registered vehicles, free parking-garage access and member pricing on Holiday at Night at $20.00 to $25.00 a ticket.
Two weekend daytime visits cost $221.60 at the gate with parking. The membership covers both for $175.00, so a household that visits twice pays less with the membership.
The table also lists four Holiday at Night tickets at the Family level. It does not say whether those are complimentary or an allotment. Membership services answers that at 214.515.6615.
Members enter without a reservation and present a membership card and valid ID at the ticket booth.
The guarantee and the gate rules
The Rainy Day Guarantee lets a ticket holder reschedule from the confirmation email. The replacement visit falls inside the current calendar year and must match the type purchased.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Trams and golf carts do not run during evening hours, so every evening product here is a walking visit across 66 acres.
Where to sleep
The garden publishes no hotel partner, no room block and no shuttle on its holiday, hours, parking or membership pages.
The hotelhuddle Dallas directory lists 790 hotels available for Dallas. Entry 1 is at 8525 Garland Road, Dallas, Texas 75218.
