Children's Gasparilla runs 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, 23 January 2027, and the organizer lists the day as free to attend. The parade steps off at 3:30 p.m. and clears the route at 6:15 p.m. Reserved seating carries the day's published prices on the route.
Five locations carry a published price. The ladder runs from $55.00 for a bleacher seat at the start of the route to $165.00 for an adult in a hospitality tent.
The four paid positions
Bleacher seats at Barcelona and Bayshore cost $55.00 to $65.00. They sit on the waterside between Bay to Bay Boulevard and Rubideaux. Entry is through Gate 2 at Barcelona Street, and Bay to Bay is not a gate.
First Mate seating at Carolina and Bayshore costs $65.00 to $70.00 for an assigned chair in a two-row section between Rubideaux and Ardson Place.
First Mate seating at Rome and Bayshore costs $65.00 to $70.00. It sits between Gunby and Rome on the waterside, and guests reach it through Gate 10 at Gunby or Gate 11 at Rome.
The two Scully hospitality tents cost $165.00 for an adult and $55.00 for a child. Scully South sits just north of Carolina Avenue on the landside. Scully North sits just north of Albany Avenue in the center median. Each tent includes bleacher seating, a tented area, private bathrooms, pre-parade entertainment and a buffet with beverages.
Every price includes service fees. Sales tax is added at purchase.
The early-bird window closes 31 December 2026
EventFest announced the 2027 reserved-seating prices on 10 June 2026. That release put early-bird bleacher seating at $50 per person, First Mate at $60, and Scully at $50 for a child and $160 for an adult.
The shop today lists $55.00 to $65.00, $65.00 to $70.00, and $165.00 or $55.00. The floor of each published range sits five dollars above the June starting price.
The two pages disagree on the weekday. The release prints Wednesday, 31 December 2026, and the shop prints Thursday. The calendar puts 31 December 2026 on a Thursday.
The shop publishes a range for each section and does not label which end of the range is the early-bird figure. Check the checkout price before the cutoff.
What a group of four pays
Two adults and two children in a Scully tent cost $440.00 at the published rate. The same four in Barcelona bleachers cost $220.00 to $260.00. Four First Mate chairs at Rome cost $260.00 to $280.00.
The route itself carries no charge. No reserved ticket is required to cross to the waterside, and the crossings sit at every block from Barcelona Street to Edison Avenue.
What the ticket covers
The shop states that there are no refunds or exchanges on ticket purchases, and repeats the point on each ticket type.
Two paid sections miss the Preschooler's Stroll. The Barcelona bleachers and the Carolina First Mate section both carry a note that the stroll does not parade past their viewing area. The stroll runs 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for children five and under, begins at Howard Avenue and ends at Rome Avenue. The ticket page puts a First Mate section at Rome and Bayshore with no such note.
The shop states that children ages two and under need a ticket unless they remain on the lap of an adult ticket holder. The Scully ticket text states that children two and under do not need a ticket. Ask the ticket office, 813-251-8844, which rule applies to your party.
The whole day is alcohol-free, and the organizer states the rule is strictly enforced.
The rest of the afternoon carries no charge. The Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Rodeo runs 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. between Rome and Dakota, with free helmets while supplies last. The Air Invasion flies 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Nighttime Air Invasion flies 6:20 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the Piratechnic finale fires 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Those two items run after the parade clears at 6:15 p.m., and neither needs a seat.
Stay inside the trolley loop
The Jolley Roger Trolley runs on event day from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. It picks up at Platt Street and Bayshore Boulevard near Publix and drops at Bay to Bay Boulevard and the Crosstown Expressway on-ramp, 1.5 blocks west of Bayshore. It is wheelchair accessible.
The drop-off lands at the head of the Barcelona section, which carries the $55.00 floor.
A guest who books a room the trolley reaches holds a seat and a route to it. No published source gives a walking distance from any hotel to the Platt Street pickup, so ask the property to confirm the walk in writing.
Parking in the neighborhoods along the route is prohibited, and the city enforces towing. Downtown garages charge a special event rate paid at entry. No page publishes that amount.
The booking order
Buy the seat first. Seats are dated, priced by section, and the early-bird window closes on 31 December 2026.
Book the room second. Ask for the nightly rate, the cancellation deadline and the walk to the trolley pickup in writing, and keep that confirmation with the seat confirmation.
