The two-day clock

The Dallas Home Show runs Saturday, January 23 and Sunday, January 24, 2027, in Centennial Hall at Fair Park. The organiser publishes the full clock: Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The weekend holds 17 hours of show, ten on Saturday and seven on Sunday.

The hall carries home improvement exhibitors across renovation and remodel projects. Children enter free.

Hold the Saturday night

Saturday closes at 8 p.m. and the Sunday floor opens at 10 a.m. The Saturday night covers both ends. A guest who leaves the floor at eight and drives home spends the evening on the road.

Ask the property what time checkout runs and whether the room can be held to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Put both answers on the confirmation.

The late checkout question

Ask for three answers in writing: the checkout time, the latest hold the rate allows, and the charge for the extension.

A hold to 5 p.m. makes Saturday night a base for both days. A hold to 10 a.m. ends as the Sunday floor opens. The guest checks out first and walks in after.

If the property will not hold the room past the open, book the Sunday night. Saturday and Sunday together keep a room through both closes.

Settle the hold before comparing rates. The hold changes the booking, and a rate without one prices a different night.

Friday night, for the Saturday open

The Saturday floor opens at 10 a.m. A drive in from outside Dallas that morning has to land before ten. The Friday night removes that risk. A booker already in the city needs Saturday only.

Claim the free pass before the show

The venue listing prints “Get Your Free Passes Today or $10 at the Door.” The organiser's pass page reads “Admission is free with online registration or $10 at the door.” The pass is valid for the recipient and all of their guests. The form asks for a first name, a ZIP code, an email and a birth year. The pass arrives by email or prints from the page.

Claim it before January 23. Adults pay $10 at the door.

Two street numbers for one building

The park's event page gives 3809 Grand Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75210. The organiser's page gives 3929 Grand Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75210. Both name Centennial Hall.

Navigate to Centennial Hall. The park opens at 6 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m., and the FAQ directs visitors to gates 5 and 6. The hall takes guests from Gates 2 and 3.

Seventeen hotels within three miles

The park's Where to Stay page lists 17 properties within three miles, each with a street address. The ZIP codes sort them into four pockets.

75201 downtown holds the largest group. The pocket carries the Dallas Marriott Downtown at 650 North Pearl Street, the Sheraton Dallas at 400 North Olive Street, The Statler at 1914 Commerce Street, the Hampton Inn & Suites at 1700 Commerce Street and the Hilton Garden Inn at 1600 Pacific Avenue. Hotel Indigo at 1933 Main Street, Halls Art Hotel at 1717 Leonard Street and the Cambria at 1907 Elm Street sit in the same pocket.

Two addresses carry paired brands: AC Hotel and Residence Inn at 1712 Commerce Street, Fairfield Inn & Suites and TownePlace Suites at 555 Evergreen Street.

75246 holds Element at 4005 Gaston Avenue and Home2 Suites at 3301 Gaston Avenue, at 1.15 and 1.22 miles on a straight line from Centennial Hall. 75226 holds the Kimpton Pittman Hotel at 2551 Elm Street, 1.41 miles out. 75215 holds the Lorenzo Hotel at 1011 South Akard Street at 1.99 miles and CANVAS Hotel at 1325 Botham Jean Boulevard at 2.15 miles.

Parking and the train

The park's parking page counts more than 14,000 spaces inside the park, reports no designated area for buses, RVs or trucks, and places rideshare pickup and drop-off at any gate. General parking is free on non-event days. Event prices sit on the event page, which prints none. Call 214-670-8400 for the January 23 rate.

No overnight parking is allowed. A vehicle left overnight is subject to towing at the owner's expense.

Two DART stations serve the park, at Parry Avenue and at Martin Luther King Boulevard. Bike racks sit at both stations and at the Dos Equis Pavilion.

Rooms for a group

hotelhuddle sends one request to 50+ hotels for a party booking 10 rooms or more. Responses arrive within 24 to 72 hours and the rate carries no commission.

Ask each property for the checkout time, the Sunday hold, the parking charge and the walk to Centennial Hall before comparing rates. Those four answers settle the booking.
