One afternoon, one window
The Texas Bridal & Wedding Expo runs on a single day at Centennial Hall in Fair Park. The organiser gives Sunday, December 6, 2026 and a 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. window. That five hours is the whole show. The floor carries gowns, reception venues, invitations, photographers, music, menus and honeymoon planning.
The pass covers the party
Admission runs on two channels. The venue listing reads “Free Passes or $10 at the Door.” The organiser's pass page reads “Admission is free with online registration or $10 at the door.”
The pass covers more than the person who registers. The form states that it is valid for one bride or partner and all of their guests, so one registration admits the group. Children under 16 enter free. The door price of $10 applies to an adult who arrives without a pass.
The form asks for a name, a cell phone, a wedding date and the holder's role in the wedding. The pass arrives by email or prints from the page. Claim it before December 6 and keep the confirmation.
The Sunday night is the booking
The show closes at 5 p.m. on Sunday. A Saturday-night booking ends at a midday checkout, which puts the departure inside the show. Book the Sunday night and the room holds through the close, with the drive home on Monday.
Ask for the Sunday rate and the checkout time as one question. The second answer sets the value of the first.
Saturday night, for the noon open
The floor opens at noon on Sunday. A guest driving in that morning has to land before twelve, and the Saturday night removes that risk.
That Saturday carries a second audience. Fair Park's events calendar lists Ali Wong Live at the Music Hall at Fair Park on Saturday, December 5 at 8 p.m. Two events on consecutive days in one park draw on the same rooms. Book the Saturday early.
If Saturday is the booking, ask whether the rate holds the room past 5 p.m. on December 6 and put the answer on the confirmation.
Seventeen hotels inside three miles
The park's Where to Stay page lists lodging within three miles of Fair Park and carries 17 properties with street addresses.
Three sit closest on a straight line from Centennial Hall. Element Dallas Downtown East at 4005 Gaston Avenue sits 1.15 miles out, Home2 Suites by Hilton Dallas Downtown at 3301 Gaston Avenue 1.22 miles, and the Kimpton Pittman Hotel at 2551 Elm Street 1.41 miles.
The downtown cluster runs 1.85 to 1.91 miles. It holds the Sheraton Dallas at 400 North Olive Street, The Statler at 1914 Commerce Street and the Dallas Marriott Downtown at 650 North Pearl Street.
Two addresses carry a pair of brands. AC Hotel and Residence Inn both sit at 1712 Commerce Street. Fairfield Inn & Suites and TownePlace Suites both sit at 555 Evergreen Street. One call to either address reaches two properties.
CANVAS Hotel at 1325 Botham Jean Boulevard sits 2.15 miles out and the Lorenzo Hotel at 1011 South Akard Street 1.99 miles. Read the figures as straight-line distances from the hall's coordinates.
Gates, parking and the train
The park opens at 6 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. through gates 5 and 6. The hall takes guests from Gates 2 and 3.
General parking is free on non-event days and priced per event on show days. The parking page says rates vary by event and points readers to the event page. The December 6 listing carries no parking figure. Call the park at 214-670-8400 for the rate.
No overnight parking is allowed. A vehicle left overnight is subject to towing at the owner's expense. Large vehicles have no designated area. Rideshare pickup and drop-off sits at any gate.
Two DART stations serve the park, at Parry Avenue and at Martin Luther King Boulevard. Bike racks sit at both stations and at the Dos Equis Pavilion.
What to ask the hotel
Four questions cover the room: the checkout time, the hold past 5 p.m., the parking charge, and the walk to Gates 2 and 3.
For a party of ten rooms or more, hotelhuddle sends one request to 50+ hotels in the destination. Responses arrive within 24 to 72 hours and the rate carries no commission.
