Two deadlines 10 hours apart
FAN EXPO Portland 2027 runs January 29 to 31 at the Oregon Convention Center in Halls A-A1-B-C. Two ticket dates land inside the same week of January 2027, and the room the show sells carries no date at all.
The organiser ends advance pricing on January 14, 2027 at 11:59 PM PT. Refunds close on January 15, 2027 at 10 AM PT. The gap between the two clocks is 10 hours and 1 minute. After the second one, the refund page states that all sales are final.
An order with shipping must be completed by January 5, 2027 at 4:59 PM PT. VIP packages ordered by that minute ship free within the contiguous United States.
What advance pricing saves on the published ladder
The 3-Day pass carries two printed prices. Advance is $87. Regular is $98. The step is $11, which is 12.6 percent of the advance figure.
Each single-day card prints one advance price: Friday $34, Saturday $56, Sunday $45. The page prints no regular single-day price, so the advance figure is the only sourced price for a single day.
Saturday buys nine hours on the floor, 10 AM to 7 PM, for $56. Friday buys five hours, 3 PM to 8 PM, for $34. Sunday buys seven hours, 10 AM to 5 PM, for $45.
Set the $87 3-Day pass against the $56 Saturday advance price. The 3-Day adds Friday and Sunday for $31.
The Friday 1 PM preview belongs to the advance purchase. The page lists it as a 3-Day benefit and footnotes it with the words “When purchased in advance.” A 3-Day, Ultimate or VIP holder who buys ahead reaches the floor at 1 PM, two hours before the 3 PM public opening. A Friday single-day ticket does not carry the preview.
The room the show sells
FAN EXPO Portland names one official property. Hyatt Regency Portland at Oregon Convention Center sits at 375 NE Holladay Street, Portland, Oregon, 97232. The show lists it at 0.2 miles from the building and rates it 9.2/10.
The rate starts at $154 a night under group code G-FAN4. The booking link resolves to hyatt.com/events/en-US/group-booking/PDXRP/G-FAN4, and the number printed for the block is 1-971-754-6184.
The page reads “Availability is limited, so book your room now before they sell out.” It publishes no cut-off date, no deposit term and no cancellation window. The room carries no deadline to plan against.
Ask the property to put the cancellation deadline, the deposit and the nightly rate for each of your dates into the confirmation email before you pay.
Sequence the week in four moves
Move one, any day now. Book the room under G-FAN4 and get the cancellation terms in writing. The block can close on availability, and the page gives you no date to work against.
Move two, by January 5. Decide whether the badge ships. The shipping deadline is 4:59 PM PT that day, and a shipping fee is not refundable once badges have shipped.
Move three, by January 14 at 11:59 PM PT. Buy the ticket. Take the 3-Day at $87 if you want Sunday, the 1 PM Friday preview, or both. Take Saturday at $56 if you attend one day.
Move four, only if plans break. Request the refund before January 15 at 10 AM PT. Service charges stay with the organiser at every point on the ladder.
The ticket price holds from today until January 14, so a purchase on January 13 costs the same as a purchase this week. The room can leave the inventory at any hour.
Buy from the show site or its box office. The page names no other valid source.
Two nights or three
A Friday arrival and a Sunday departure puts two nights on the bill, January 29 and January 30, at $154 each, or $308 before tax.
The Sunday session ends at 5 PM. The show publishes no late-checkout term, so the two-night plan needs the hotel to hold the room past that close, agreed in writing. A third night, Sunday January 31 at $154, takes the room to $462.
Add the ticket to each plan. Two nights with the $87 3-Day pass is $395. Two nights with the $56 Saturday pass is $364. Three nights with the $98 regular 3-Day is $560.
The $154 is a starting rate. The hotel quotes the tax and any parking on top, and the show carries neither figure.
Friday runs on two published clocks
The organiser prints Friday 3 PM to 8 PM with the 1 PM preview for advance multi-day holders. The venue event page prints Friday 4 PM to 9 PM for the same show. Saturday and Sunday match on both pages: 10 AM to 7 PM and 10 AM to 5 PM.
Plan the Friday arrival on the organiser clock. The ticket is bought against the show hours, and the preview starts at 1 PM either way.
Parking, rail and the door
The convention center garage holds 800 spaces, at 7 feet clearance on P1 and 9 feet on P2. Standard entry is $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privileges, and larger events are charged a dynamic $15 to $25 at the gate. The garage generally opens at 6 AM. MAX light rail stops 300 times a day at the station by the front door.
What to do now
Book the room, then set calendar entries for January 5 for shipping, January 14 at 11:59 PM PT for the ticket price and January 15 at 10 AM PT for the refund. Nothing between today and January 14 changes what the ticket costs. The room is the item with no published deadline, and the show tells you to take it today.
