The gate is free, so the room carries the sale
The Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts runs Saturday, March 6, 2027, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, March 7, 2027, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The site is Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park in downtown Tampa. Admission is free.
The organisers print an estimated attendance of 30,000, prize money of up to $92,000 and up to 40 awards. The artist overview states that $92,000 was awarded in 2026. This is the 57th annual edition, and it opens 135 days from October 22, 2026.
The rate and the route carry the sale. Admission costs nothing, so no ticket deadline sets the booking date.
Sixteen hours across two days
Saturday runs nine hours. Sunday runs seven. The two days hold sixteen hours of art, music and food on the riverfront.
A Saturday-only booking puts arrival on the morning of the opening day, with checkout in the middle of Sunday. Book Friday check-in and Sunday check-out. The guest reaches the park at 9 a.m. Saturday and has the whole of Sunday to work with.
The walkable set
The park sits at 1001 N. Boulevard. The festival's parking guide measures three walkable points from it. Street parking on Doyle Carlton Drive sits 0.2 miles out, about a 5 minute walk. The Barrymore Hotel sits 0.3 miles out, about a 7 minute walk. The Royal Street Regional Lot sits 0.5 miles out, about a 10 minute walk.
The Barrymore is the only hotel on that list. It also sponsors an Award of Merit under its own name in the festival's award list. Sell the 0.3 mile walk from that address and let the festival's own figure carry it.
Three free shuttle stops
Shuttles run Saturday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Three stops serve the park. Poe Garage, on the northwest corner at Cass Street and Gasparilla Plaza. Rivergate Tower Garage, at E. Twiggs Street and Ashley Drive. The Julian B. Lane stop, at 1001 N. Boulevard along the southwest boundary of the park.
Poe Garage charges a flat $10 prepaid event rate set by the City of Tampa. The festival states that it is not responsible for the pricing each public garage and lot charges. Quote the City's $10 and name the City as the source.
The shuttle runs an hour past each park close. Saturday service ends at 7 p.m. against a 6 p.m. close. Sunday service ends at 6 p.m. against a 5 p.m. close. A guest who plans a late dinner on Saturday should hear that from the desk.
The water taxi stop
A Pirate Water Taxi stop sits at Curtis Hixon Park and just north of Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park. It is 0.2 miles from Ft. Brooke Garage, about a 5 minute walk. The festival sends fares and schedules to piratewatertaxi.com and publishes no fare of its own. Give the guest the link and the stop name.
Price the two nights
The stay is Friday, March 5 through Sunday, March 7. Two nights. Build the rate on the walk and the shuttle, because the park charges nothing to enter.
A room on the Barrymore side sells a seven minute walk to an opening bell. A room near Poe Garage sells a $10 park and a free ride that starts at 8 a.m. Both routes end at the same gate, and the guest pays for the difference in minutes.
Quote the two-night total. A one-night Saturday rate invites a Sunday morning checkout against a 10 a.m. opening, and the guest loses the second day.
What goes in the confirmation
Print five lines in the arrival email. Free street parking just west of the park. Accessible parking in the North and South Lots, first come, first served. Free bike valet at the tennis courts through the Tampa Downtown Partnership. DASH hub-to-hub rides at $2 per person, requested through the app. Blake High School parking at $15, north of the park, and the proceeds support the school's Booster Club.
Add the shuttle stop nearest the door and its first departure. That is the line a guest reads at 7:40 a.m. on Saturday.
The artist business is open
The festival publishes no public hotel block, no group rate and no cut-off date. Its artist page states that load-in, parking, lodging and rules will be emailed to participating artists closer to the festival. The artist gallery advertises 250+ artists from the 2025 fair.
A property that wants the artist business writes its own offer and sends it before the festival mails its own logistics note.
Group requests and the Florida limit
hotelhuddle.com takes one request and sends it to 50+ hotels in the destination. Answers come back in 24 to 72 hours. The platform adds no markup, and most hotels quote group rates from 10 rooms per night, with some discounting from 5 rooms depending on season and availability.
Florida sits outside that service today. hotelhuddle.com is not currently registered as a Florida Seller of Travel under Chapter 559, Florida Statutes, and cannot process hotel booking requests from residents of Florida or for travel to Florida. Route a Florida group to the property's own sales office. Compliance questions go to compliance@hotelhuddle.com.
