The Tampa United Volleyball Gasparilla Volleyball Classic fills the East, Central and West Exhibit Halls of the Tampa Convention Center from Saturday 13 February to Monday 15 February 2027. The city record prints 7 a.m. on each of the three mornings and a 6 p.m. close on Monday. A team that plays all three days books Friday 12, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14, with a Monday 15 checkout.

The Monday close decides the third night
A 6 p.m. finish sits six hours past a noon checkout. Ask for a late checkout to 6 p.m. when the reservation is made and put the answer and its fee in writing.

A property that will not hold the room to 6 p.m. can hold the bags. A property that sells day rooms covers the afternoon.
What the organiser's own programme publishes
JVC runs a loyalty programme for nine of its events, and Gasparilla is not on that list. The published terms: 5 to 15 rooms per team, blocks of three nights for a three-day event, 90 percent of contracted room-nights booked by the rooming list deadline, and $50 per room-night short of that guarantee.
The calendar listed 19 tournaments for 2026-27 on 21 October 2026. Its Tampa stops read 26 to 28 February and 13 to 14 and 20 to 21 March, with no Gasparilla row. Friday is the arrival night
Play opens at 7 a.m. on Saturday. A Friday arrival puts the team in the room before the first door. A Saturday drive-in shares the garage and the registration desk with the whole field.
The convention center garage at 141 E. Brorein St holds 454 spaces, 11 accessible spaces and two electric vehicle chargers, with a 6-foot-6 clearance. The event rate runs $5.00 to $50.00, and the non-event rate runs $3 an hour against an $18 daily maximum. The garage carries no long-term parking.
Fort Brooke at 107 N. Franklin St holds 556 hourly spaces with a 6-foot-8 clearance and allows overnight parking to 6 a.m. Pam Iorio at 301 Channelside Drive holds 790 spaces on the same overnight rule. A family staying three nights parks once and walks.
Front Drive at 333 S. Franklin St holds 36 metered spaces at $4 an hour from 8 a.m. to midnight and bars overnight parking.

The walk from the room

Harbour Island Blvd. is 0.3 miles out. The Tampa EDITION at 500 Channelside Drive, Hilton Tampa Downtown at 211 N. Tampa Street, Hyatt Place/Hyatt House at 325 N. Florida Ave. and ROOST Tampa at 1050 Water Street all sit 0.5 miles out.
The venue list publishes addresses, phone numbers and distances, with no rate on any entry. Ask each property for a written nightly rate, the deposit, the block release date and the cancellation deadline with its fee.
Florida sits outside the platform
hotelhuddle.com publishes a seller-of-travel notice dated 21 October 2026. The notice states that booking requests from residents of or for travel to Florida, Hawaii, Iowa and Washington cannot be processed, and names the restriction across grouprooms.org, hotelhaggle.org, hotelslots.org, bookmyteam.org and partners.hotelhuddle.com. A Tampa block therefore goes to the property. Take the quote and the cancellation terms in writing, and keep the confirmation.
