A status gates the housing link
USA Volleyball opens the inaugural Golden Gate Classic Girls Junior National Qualifier at Moscone Center in San Francisco from 19 to 21 February 2027. Housing does not open with registration. It opens with a status.
The event page reads: “Housing will be available only to teams in an Ok to Pay status based on their registration time stamp.” Teams on the waitlist and teams still pending lose access to hotel accommodations.
The three statuses before acceptance
AES holds the first status. Pending means the entry is in and nothing further happens yet. USAV reviews the registration time stamp and moves the team to Ok to Pay or to Waitlist. The page states that Pending does not guarantee acceptance and advises against booking travel.
Ok to Pay is tentative acceptance. It unlocks housing. The instruction attached to it asks the team to submit payment and complete housing through Team Travel Source as soon as possible.
Waitlist is where a team lands when the division fills before its registration completes. The page tells a waitlisted team not to submit payment.
Accepted takes both steps
The event page reads: “Once payment is received and your housing is confirmed by Team Travel Source, your status will be updated to Accepted. This is the only status that confirms full acceptance into the event, and you may then proceed to book your travel arrangements.”
A paid entry without a confirmed Team Travel Source booking stays short of Accepted. So does a booking that follows an unpaid entry.
Where the housing link lives
The event page names the route. Teams at Ok to Pay status find the housing link at teamtravelsource.com/usavolleyball_lander/usav-qualifiers.
Team Travel Source’s own qualifier table carries the corroboration. Its 2027 USAV Golden Gate Classic Qualifier row lists 02/19/27 to 02/21/27, the location Moscone Center, San Francisco, CA, and the region North. That row’s booking cell reads OK to Pay. Two other rows on the same table carry live BOOK NOW links, and the remaining rows read OK TO PAY or Coming Soon!.
Work backward from 10 January
The event page sets four deadlines. Registration opens 16 September 2026 at 11:00 AM ET. Registration closes 31 December 2026 at 12:00 AM ET. The roster deadline is 1 January 2027 at 05:00 PM ET. The refund deadline is 10 January 2027 at 05:00 PM ET.
The refund policy is one line: teams not accepted into the 2027 Golden Gate Classic receive a full refund.
Ten days sit between the registration deadline and the refund deadline. Register before 31 December. Clear payment and the Team Travel Source booking inside that window. A team that reaches Accepted has paid and holds a confirmed block.
The Open Division acceptance window
New for 2027 is an acceptance process for Open divisions. Registering sets a Pending status. The page warns against paying while the status reads Pending.
When a division receives 24 or more registrations in the first 24 hours, USAV reviews every team that entered inside that window. Priority goes to teams that, in the prior season and in the age division immediately below the one entered, qualified in the Open or USA division at a national qualifier or finished in the top 20 percent of an Open Division field at one. A 17 Open entry is judged on 2026 16s results.
If more than 24 teams meet a priority criterion, the AES registration timestamp decides and the first 24 eligible teams receive OK to Pay. If fewer than 24 teams meet one, the remaining places go in timestamp order to other teams that entered during the window. A division that does not receive 24 registrations in the first 24 hours fills in registration-timestamp order until the 24-team capacity is reached.
What the schedule adds to the nights
The divisions rank from the most elite as Open 15-17, USA 15-17, Liberty 15-17 and American 15-17. The page states that the overall team count is fluid up to the event. Entry is $925 per team. Card payments carry a $25 non-refundable convenience fee, and checks carry none.
Teams may practise at Moscone Center on 18 February from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, first come first served, for one hour. On match days the AM wave doors open at 7:00 AM and the PM wave doors open at 2:30 PM. The last match on the final day is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM, and the page asks teams not to schedule a departing flight before 6:00 PM.
What to hand the housing desk
The event page routes parents and individuals with reservation changes to one mailbox and coaches and clubs that need a rooming block to another. It publishes (502) 354-9103 for customer service. Team Travel Source lists the same line for both parents and coaches on its qualifier lander, with a note that live event rates are based on demand and are subject to change.
The qualifier page publishes no nightly rate and no property list. Its location block gives Moscone Center at 747 Howard Street, San Francisco. The rate and the property roster come from Team Travel Source once a status clears Ok to Pay.
