Five days, two clocks

The Pacific Northwest Sportsmen's Show runs February 17 to 21, 2027, in Halls A, B, C, D and E at the Portland Expo Center, 2025 N Expo Rd., Portland, OR 97217. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday run 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday runs 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

February 17, 2027 falls on a Wednesday. February 21 falls on a Sunday.

The two nights to hold

Saturday carries ten hours on the floor. Friday carries nine hours and the evening. A booking for those two nights covers the bulk of the show.

A four-night booking runs Wednesday February 17 to Sunday February 21, with a Sunday morning checkout before the 10 a.m. open. A two-night booking runs Friday February 19 to Sunday February 21 and carries Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The $32 pass prices the second day at $12

Adults 18 and older pay $20 at the door. A two-day pass costs $32 and works on any two days. Juniors 17 and under enter free. The promoter notes that fees may apply.

Two single adult days cost $40. The pass costs $32, so a second show day adds $12 to a single ticket.

A visitor holding Wednesday to Friday already has two show days inside that stay. The pass turns a third day into a $12 decision. A one-day Wednesday visitor who wants Thursday needs a Thursday night, and that night is the one the pass sells.

Parking is $15 per space per entry

The promoter states the rule in its parking section: $15 per space, per entry, without in and out privileges. An RV or trailer that takes more than one space pays per space. A midday exit and return buys the lot a second time.

Overflow parking sits at Portland International Raceway at $15 per vehicle per entry in cash or by card. A free shuttle runs to and from the Expo Center all day and stops 45 minutes after the show closes. The promoter sells exhibitor passes as run-of-show passes only. The Expo Center sells a multi-day exhibitor pass in advance and states that exhibitors hold in-and-out privileges through the day.

Five days of parking against five days of MAX

One car entering once a day for five days pays $75. Two cars pay $150.

The MAX Yellow Line serves the Expo Center. The promoter describes the ride as 30 minutes from downtown Portland and the walk in as a crossing of the Expo parking lots west under a covered walkway. TriMet charges an adult $2.80 for 2½ hours and stops charging after $5.60 in a day, so five days of transit caps at $28 for one rider.

The $12 rate

Active and retired military, veterans, police, fire and first responders pay $12 on every day of the run with valid ID at the box office. The offer extends to one family member. Against the $20 adult rate, the difference is $8 a head per day and $40 across the five days for one visitor.

The host hotels publish no rate

The promoter lists two host hotels. Oxford Suites sits at 12226 N Jantzen Dr, Portland, Oregon 97217, phone 503-283-3030. Fairfield Inn sits at 1200 N Anchor Way, Portland, Oregon 97217, phone 503-286-6336. The page states that printable flyers with rates and contact information will appear closer to showtime.

The page carries no nightly rate, block size, cut-off date or cancellation term for 2027.

The Expo Center event page lags. Its admissions line reads "To be announced" and its parking line reads "Parking passes coming soon". The promoter publishes $20 adult admission, the $32 two-day pass and the $15 lot charge. Confirm both sets at the box office before setting a budget.

Six items for the room request

Name the arrival and departure dates first: Wednesday February 17 to Sunday February 21 for five days, or Friday to Sunday for the short version. State the number of adults and whether one holds the military rate. Ask whether the property has its own parking and what it charges. Ask for a luggage hold on the Sunday morning between checkout and the 10 a.m. open. Ask for the cancellation deadline in writing. Ask for the gap between the flexible and the non-refundable rate.

One request, several rooms

hotelhuddle.com sends one request to 50+ hotels per destination and returns quotes in 24 to 72 hours at no charge. The guest pays the property directly. bookMyTeam.org defines a group rate as a block of 10 or more rooms. The same promoter runs the Washington show February 3 to 7 in Puyallup and the Central Oregon show March 11 to 14 in Redmond.
