Preview night opens the weekend

The Junior League of Tampa runs a Preview Night on Thursday, November 12, 2026. General preview admission runs 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. A VIP Preview Party ticket runs 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Three public days follow. Friday, November 13 runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 14 runs 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, November 15 runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The market fills the Expo and Entertainment Halls.

Four days, three clocks

The Fairgrounds event calendar matches the League day for day on the three public dates. The League adds the Thursday block. VIP entry opens at 6 p.m., general preview at 7 p.m., and the doors close at 10 p.m. Saturday is the long day at nine hours. Friday and Sunday run seven hours each.

Why Thursday to Sunday

A Thursday check-in with a Sunday checkout is three nights: the 12th, 13th and 14th. That shape covers preview night, Friday and Saturday in full, and Sunday morning. It leaves out Sunday afternoon, because the market runs to 4 p.m. and a checkout falls before that. Add the Sunday night for four nights and a Monday checkout to keep the final afternoon.

The preview is the extra night. It sits outside every public-day calculation.

The preview needs its own ticket

The League shopper FAQ states that general admission is valid Friday to Sunday, one-day entry only. The same FAQ lists the Preview Party among the special events that need a ticket bought separately. A shopper who wants Thursday plus all three public days needs a preview ticket and three single-day admissions. No weekend pass exists.

Cashless at the gate

The League states that the market is cashless for ticket purchases. Tickets can be bought online or at the gate with credit or debit cards and digital payments. The same page states that merchants may still accept all forms of payment, including cash, depending on their preference. The Fairgrounds gate takes credit or debit for parking. Carry a card for every gate and cash for the merchants who want it.

Prepay the $10 parking

Parking costs $10 a vehicle in advance and $12 at the Fairgrounds gate. The fee goes to the Fairgrounds and sits outside the market ticket. The parking portal lists a Junior League Holiday Gift Market product for November 12 to 15, 2026, at General Parking $10.00, good for one time entry.

One entry across a four-day window means a shopper who attends Thursday and returns Friday buys two tickets. Four days on the grounds cost $40 prepaid against $48 at the gate. Parking does not include event entry, and all sales are final.

Admission arithmetic

Advance admission is $10 and gate admission is $12. Children five and under enter free. The League sells the $10 early-bird ticket until November 5.

The same FAQ still prints November 6th-8th as the window for the $12 tier. That range predates this market's dates. Treat November 5 as the deadline and confirm the cart total before paying.

The Bargain Bracelet costs $18 in advance and $20 at the door. It takes 10 percent off purchases of $25 or more across the market. At $18 the bracelet needs $180 of qualifying spend to cover its own cost. At the door price it needs $200.

More than 200 merchants

The market uses the Expo Hall and the Entertainment Hall. The Expo Hall carries 87,000+ square feet under 45-foot ceilings. The Entertainment Hall carries 51,000 square feet under 36-foot ceilings. The two combine into 138,000 square feet.

The League lists more than 200 specialty merchants selling apparel, jewelry, home decor, gourmet food, artwork, candles, pet products and holiday items. Guest services include a Mothers Nook, a Bag Check staffed by League volunteers, a gift-wrapping station taking donations and a Fan Cave.

Gate 1 on U.S. 301

Both halls sit behind the U.S. Hwy 301 entrance, Gate 1. From I-275 take I-4 East via Exit 45B, then Exit #7 for U.S. 301 South. Stay in the right lane for a quarter mile and turn right into the Fairgrounds entrance. Do not pass the light at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Only trained service animals are allowed inside the market.

Where the money goes

One hundred percent of net proceeds support the League community projects, including MILO, which stocks Giving Libraries across Hillsborough County, and Love Bundles, which provides backpacks of essentials to children entering the foster care system. The League calls the market its largest fundraiser, planned by a committee of more than 40 volunteers and supported by more than 1,900 volunteers across the weekend. Ticket questions go to hgmtickets@JLTampa.org.

What to put in the room request

Ask for Thursday early check-in. Preview night opens at 7 p.m., and a 4 p.m. room key makes the evening work. Confirm Sunday checkout in writing and price the room through 4 p.m. if the final afternoon matters. Ask about a luggage hold for the last day, because the market bag check is staffed by volunteers. Then ask what the property charges for parking.

hotelhuddle.com cannot take this request. Its seller of travel page, last updated October 21, 2026, lists Florida among four states where the platform cannot process hotel booking requests from residents of or for travel to that state. The page records the status as not currently registered as a Florida Seller of Travel and cites Chapter 559, Florida Statutes. The request goes to the property sales office, and questions on the restriction route to compliance@hotelhuddle.com.
