HYROX makes its Tampa debut on Thursday 22 October 2026 and runs to Sunday 25 October in the East, Central and West Exhibit Halls of the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S Franklin St. The city lists the building open from 6 a.m. Thursday to 10 p.m. Sunday. Every room for the weekend goes through one booking portal, and the portal sets its own terms.

The portal's rules

SportStays prints four instructions on its search screen. Reservations must go through the portal, and the screen tells athletes not to contact the hotel directly. No hold exists, so a room is booked or it is not. The room count listed is not guaranteed at the same rate, and rates rise as inventory sells and the arrival date approaches. The portal also states that the group cut-off dates have passed.

The cancellation term at checkout is the term the booking keeps. The portal states that SportStays and HYROX cannot override a hotel's policy once the reservation is made.

What the inventory showed on 20 October

The portal's property list for the default window, Wednesday 21 to Monday 26 October, returned 199 properties inside 30 miles. Eight sat within a mile of the convention centre with 54 rooms between them, and none of the eight sold a refundable rate at its lowest plan. The nearest refundable plan sat 1.74 miles out at the Hilton Garden Inn Ybor, at $254.17 a night with a cancellation penalty from 11.59 p.m. on 20 October.

Prices on this portal move with the booking curve, so those figures describe one read on one afternoon. The structure holds: buy near the door early, or accept the walk from Ybor.

The fee outside the nightly rate

The platform collects a reservation fee of $15 a room a night. A five-night booking carries $75 of that fee inside the quoted total, and the fee stays non-refundable on a refundable rate.

Set the nights to your start time

The default window runs five nights for a four-day race. Thursday's division ladder runs 8:00 to 9:40, 10:00 to 12:00, 12:30 to 15:20, 15:30 to 17:50 and 18:20 to 20:30. A Thursday 8 a.m. start needs the Wednesday night.

Registration opens on site 90 minutes before the first start of each day. Start times are linked about three days out and changes are not permitted, so a late slot is the one that earns the final night.

The arrival

Athletes enter through the Riverwalk Entrance at 333 S Franklin St. Parking sits on the ground level on a first-come basis.

Set the nights in the portal before searching, choose the plan whose cancellation date you can live with, read the cancellation hour at checkout, and book. Nothing can be held, and the quoted rate applies to the booking made at checkout.
