Two nights, and Sunday is not one of them

Florida Gun Shows brings its Miami Gun Show to the Miami-Dade Fairgrounds on November 7 and 8, 2026. Hold Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7. Release Sunday, November 8.

The two nights come from the promoter's own exhibitor page. Vendor setup runs Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Show hours are Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The exhibitor rules state in bold that vendors are required to be at the show both days.

The promoter prints the address as 10901 SW 24th Street, Miami, FL 33165. The venue site prints 10901 Coral Way in its footer. Both name the same fairgrounds.

The clock that fixes the two nights

Friday load-in runs 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday's vendor window is 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., which sits 90 minutes ahead of the 9:00 a.m. door and works as a restock slot. Sunday carries no separate vendor window, because Sunday continues a show already built.

That shape produces one arrival night and one working night. Friday, November 6 covers the setup. Saturday, November 7 covers the second show day. Sunday's close at 5:00 p.m. ends the run.

Why Friday is the night to defend

The floor is 500 tables. The promoter lists Miami at 500 behind Tampa at 800 and Orlando at 700, and ahead of Palmetto at 400. A floor that size takes an afternoon to build.

Tables are 8 feet and priced at $130 on an aisle or $140 on a wall. The promoter states that wall tables are not guaranteed.

Placement is the second reason to arrive Friday. The rules read that show management reserves the right to change a vendor's placement at any time before the vendor arrives to set up. A vendor who arrives Friday settles that question while the floor is still being set.

Inventory is the third. The promoter provides 24-hour armed and licensed security from Friday setup through Sunday teardown. Merchandise stays on the tables Friday night, and somebody has to uncover it at 7:00 a.m. Saturday.

Why Sunday is the night to release

The show closes at 5:00 p.m. and security coverage runs to teardown that same evening. A Sunday-night room buys sleep after the work is finished.

The exit is workable. The fairgrounds sit roughly 15 km and about 21 minutes by road from Miami International Airport, measured through OpenStreetMap routing rather than quoted from the promoter.

Where a two-night minimum belongs

A two-night minimum fits a vendor block. It fits an attendee block less well. The promoter sells admission at a daily rate and answers the question plainly: tickets are not good for both days. Admission is $17.00 a day, and children 12 and under enter free.

An attendee who wants Saturday needs Friday night. An attendee who wants Sunday needs Saturday night. Neither needs Sunday, and neither needs both.

The concealed-weapon class runs both days, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and again 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with no pre-registration and seats filled first come. Somebody travelling for the class alone takes either day and books one night against it.

The calendar around this weekend

The Fair Expo Grille holds a 4-H Cooperative Extension herb gardening presentation on Wednesday, November 4 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Fuchs Pavilion runs the South Florida Plumbing and Mechanical Trade Show on Thursday, November 5. The gun show then takes Arnold Hall, Reilly Coliseum and the Fair Expo Grille for the weekend itself.

Arnold Hall is booked again November 13 to 15 for The Allstars Tattoo Convention. Two weekends of demand on the same three buildings means the properties near the fairgrounds face a second draw the following week. Commit the Friday arrival before that second weekend's requests land.

Where the room request goes

The fairgrounds publishes a disclaimer that it is not affiliated with and does not endorse any activity on its grounds when it licenses them to a third party. The room decision stays with the reader.

hotelhuddle cannot process hotel booking requests for travel to Florida. Its Seller of Travel page, last updated 18 October 2026, lists FL, HI, IA and WA as states it cannot serve until registration is in place, and states that its Florida registration is not current. Any reader with a Florida destination books directly with the property.

Put three things in that direct request. Ask for Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7 as covered nights with a Sunday, November 8 checkout. Ask the property to state its cancellation deadline in writing. Ask for the parking charge inside the rate.

The promoter's own table policy charges nothing for a cancellation two weeks out, 50 percent inside two weeks, and the full table fee for a cancellation on the Friday or Saturday of the show. A room deadline that lands later than the table deadline leaves the reader holding a room with no table to sit behind.

Leave the Sunday night out of the request. The hall empties at 5:00 p.m., and the two nights that matter are already spoken for.
