Three Days in Indianapolis
The Midwest Healthcare Engineering Conference & Trade Show runs November 8 to 10, 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Avenue. The venue forecasts 600 attendees.

The Host Block and the Published Rate
The official hotel is The Westin Indianapolis at 241 West Washington Street. The organiser publishes a group rate of $179 a night plus taxes and applicable fees.
Reservations run through the event’s block link at book.passkey.com/go/MHEC2026. That page describes the rooms as available at special rates on an exclusive basis. It renders no rate table, no property roster and no penalty schedule until you enter dates.

Two Nights or Three
Two nights means a Sunday, November 8 check-in and a Tuesday, November 10 checkout, covering the nights of the 8th and the 9th. Three nights adds Tuesday night and moves the checkout to Wednesday, November 11.
The schedule sets the floor at two nights. The Sunday pre-conference session opens at 3:00 p.m. in Rooms 123-124. Monday registration opens at 7:00 a.m. and the Early Risers session starts at 7:30 a.m. A Sunday-morning arrival misses the start of both.
Two nights carry you through Monday’s programme and the Happy Hour in the Hall and ribbon cutting from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A Tuesday-morning checkout leaves your bag with you for the rest of the day.
The third night covers Tuesday afternoon. The trade show floor runs 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the grand prize drawing is at 3:00 p.m., and free time runs to 5:00 p.m. A Tuesday night moves the departure to Wednesday morning.
The organiser states no minimum-night requirement on the rate or the block site. Confirm the length of stay your rate allows when you book.
The Block Property Inside the Connected Network
The Westin Indianapolis is one of 12 hotels in Visit Indy’s connected package, listed at 575 sleeping rooms and 42,500 square feet of meeting space. Visit Indy counts the package at 12 hotels and 5,200 rooms connected to the Indiana Convention Center.
The Convention Center publishes a second figure. Its Indianapolis by the Numbers block reads 4,700 rooms connected to the Center by skywalk. The two totals come from two sources.
The connections carry hours. The Center states lock-down at approximately 11:00 p.m. and reopening at approximately 6:00 a.m., and calls the window event-dependent. Monday programming ends at 6:00 p.m.

None of those properties publishes a rate for these dates. The $179 group rate is the only figure on the table.
Registration and the Room
Attendee registration opened June 11. An All Access Pass runs $340 before September 14 and $380 after. The Monday Only pass and the Tuesday Only pass each run $255 before that date and $295 after.
The registration refund deadline is October 2, 2026. Cancellations submitted before that date receive a refund less a $100 administrative fee, and the organiser grants no refunds after it. Cancellations go in writing to mwhcec@raybourn.com. Registrations transfer between individuals at the same company, and the policy excludes sponsorships.

The Calendar Around the Show
Two other events sit on these dates at the same venue. The Monumental Health and Fitness Expo runs November 6 in Exhibit Hall A-B with a forecast attendance of 20,000. The IU Health Leadership Development Institute runs November 10 in Exhibit Hall G-H with a forecast of 2,200.
Downtown Indianapolis holds more than 7,100 hotel rooms. The Convention Center states that more than half sit within blocks of the building and Lucas Oil Stadium.
Getting There and Parking
Downtown carries more than 70,000 parking spaces, and Denison Parking operates every Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium lot. Reserve and pre-pay online.
Taxis pick up under the Maryland Street canopy, where access can be restricted during events. IndyGo runs the city bus service with a call centre at 317-635-3344. Indianapolis International Airport sits 15 minutes from downtown.
What to Fix First
Fix the nights, then the room. Two nights cover the programme through Monday evening with a Tuesday checkout. Add the third night if the trade show floor and Tuesday afternoon are the reason for the trip.
