One block, across the street
Oregon GOSH 2027 runs 1 to 4 March at the Oregon Convention Center. The organiser publishes one lodging block for the cycle: the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center, 375 NE Holladay St., Portland, OR 97232. Rates start at $161 per night plus tax. The reservation cut-off is 7 February 2027.
The organiser adds a condition to that date: "The block may fill before this date...book early!" The block rate is promised to 7 February and may close sooner.
GOSH occupies Halls D-E. The Hyatt stands across the street from that building. The walk from the room to the show floor is one street crossing.
The dates decide the nights
The venue calendar lists 2 to 4 March for Halls D-E. The organiser lists 1 to 4 March. Monday belongs to the pre-conference programme.
The published schedule settles the booking. Monday 1 March carries half-day workshops from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday 2 March opens the exhibit hall at 7:30 a.m. and runs sessions to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday 3 March repeats that pattern, with the Columbia Forklift Challenge in the hall from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Thursday 4 March closes at 12:30 p.m.
Full attendance needs three nights: Monday 1 March, Tuesday 2 March and Wednesday 3 March, with a Thursday checkout. At $161 that comes to $483 plus tax. A Sunday 28 February arrival adds one night at $161 plus tax against a 1 p.m. workshop start.
Two deadlines, seven days apart
The block closes Sunday 7 February 2027. Registration steps up Sunday 14 February 2027. Both dates pull a planner toward the same week.
The published fee ladder is $90 for Monday, $190 for Tuesday, $190 for Wednesday and $90 for Thursday, or $560 for all four days. After 14 February Tuesday and Wednesday cost $215 a day and Monday and Thursday cost $105 a day. The four-day total becomes $640. Onsite registration adds a $50 service fee to either figure.
Booking the room and missing the registration step costs $80. Missing both costs $80 plus whatever the block rate has moved to.
How to hold the room
The online route is the organiser's group-booking link at hyatt.com under group code G-GOS1. The organiser also publishes a phone line, 971-222-1234, for reservations made by voice with the same code.
Payment terms appear in one line on the lodging page: the attendee makes the reservation and pays room, tax, parking and incidentals at checkout. The page publishes no deposit, no cancellation window and no attrition clause. Ask the property to state the cancellation deadline in writing before you commit a card. Ask whether $161 holds across all three nights or is a starting rate that moves with room type.
The same page carries overflow sections headed for GOSH 2025 and for a 2023 cycle: Hotel Eastlund at $155 with a 14 February 2025 cut-off, and DoubleTree by Hilton Portland at $152 with a 24 February 2023 cut-off. Neither carries a 2027 rate. Take the Hyatt as the only current block, and ask the organiser whether an overflow property exists for this cycle.
Parking and transit
The convention center garage holds 800 spaces on two levels, entered from NE Lloyd Blvd or NE First Ave. A standard entry is $15 for up to 18 hours, with no in-and-out privileges. During events the venue charges a dynamic $15 to $25 at entry. The garage opens at 6 a.m. and fills on busy days on a first-come basis. Overnight parking is prohibited.
A driver pays the venue rate each day and a separate hotel rate each night. Budget the $15 to $25 range on event days.
Transit removes the charge. MAX light rail stops 300 times a day at the venue. The organiser issues attendees a complimentary TriMet pass, collected at registration on the first day.
The booking order
Reserve the Hyatt block at $161 under G-GOS1 before 7 February 2027. Get the cancellation terms in writing at the same time. Register before 14 February 2027 to hold the $560 four-day ladder. Book three nights, and add the Sunday only if the Monday 1 p.m. workshop needs an early arrival. Collect the TriMet pass at registration.
