The Native American Rehabilitation Association of the Northwest holds its Sobriety Powwow in Halls A-A1 at the Oregon Convention Center on Thursday, 31 December 2026. The hall opens at 1 p.m. and closes at midnight. One night of lodging covers the whole programme, and the checkout hour decides the booking.
The venue lists the powwow as a public event at 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Portland, OR 97232. The contact number is 503-224-1044. The venue description calls it one of the largest sober New Year's parties in the country and says it draws thousands.
The night the programme uses
Eleven hours sit inside one calendar date. The programme ends at midnight, and the room is still needed after that close. Book 31 December into 1 January.
1 January 2027 is a Friday. Ask for the checkout hour when you book.
The 1 p.m. open sits before check-in
Get the property's check-in hour in writing before you hold the room. A 4 p.m. check-in leaves a guest with bags in the lobby and a programme already running.
Two arrangements cover it. Add 30 December as an early-arrival night. The room is in hand on the morning of the 31st. Or keep the single night and ask the property to store bags until the room is ready.

The garage prices a day of parking
The convention center garage charges $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privileges. Event days carry a dynamic rate of $15 to $25 at entry. The garage opens at 6 a.m., holds 800 spaces, and prohibits overnight parking.
Clearance is 7 feet on P1 and 9 feet on P2, entered from NE Lloyd Blvd or NE First Avenue. The booths take cards and touchless payment only. The garage does not take RVs, campers or trucks with trailers.

The door without a car
MAX light rail stops 300 times a day near the front door. The Red Line reaches Portland International Airport, which the venue puts eight miles away. The Streetcar A Loop arrives at NE MLK and Hoyt every 15 minutes, and bus line 6 stops at NE MLK and Holladay.
There are 566 metered spaces within three blocks of the building. A cash-only guest can load a Visa card at the Reverse ATM in the MLK lobby, once per card and fee free.
