Scan Fair runs in Halls A-A1 at the Oregon Convention Center on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December. Saturday trades 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday trades 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Nordic Northwest stages the 42nd annual market. Those two days are the whole show.
Two nights cover it
A Friday arrival puts a visitor in the district before the Saturday opening. The Saturday night carries the Sunday session. The Sunday night holds a bed after a 4 p.m. close.
Sunday closes an hour before Saturday. A visitor who stays for the Sunday session still needs a room to return to that afternoon.
The 30 November cut-off
The organiser page reads "Early Bird Tickets End November 30th!". The ticket button opens the Nordic Northwest events portal, and that portal asks a visitor to log in before it shows a price.
Check the portal price before quoting a client. The cut-off falls on Monday 30 November, eleven days before the Friday arrival.
Saturday is the night to hold
Crafty Wonderland fills Hall D across the same three days. Scan Fair takes Halls A-A1 on the Saturday and Sunday. The two shows share one garage, one light rail stop and one Saturday night.
The December calendar also lists the American Northwest Nationals in Hall D on 5 and 6 December.
Hold Saturday at rate. Treat Friday as the negotiable night.

Arriving without a car
The garage holds 800 cars, takes entry from NE Lloyd Blvd on P1 and NE First Avenue on P2, and clears 7 feet on P1 and 9 feet on P2. Up to 18 hours costs $15. A dynamic $15 to $25 applies at entry during events, and overnight parking is prohibited.
MAX stops 300 times a day at the front door and connects the venue to Portland International Airport, eight miles away. The Streetcar A Loop calls at NE MLK and Hoyt every 15 minutes. Bus line 6 stops at NE MLK and Holladay.
Venue policy admits service dogs and miniature horses. A group travelling with any other animal needs a property that answers the pet question before the room is held.
The booking order
Hold Friday and Saturday on a cancellable rate first. Confirm the headcount. Buy the tickets before 30 November while the early-bird window is open. Ask for a Sunday checkout after 4 p.m. in writing, and book a locker where the property refuses. Leave the Sunday night unbooked.
