SF Sketchfest returns for its 24th year from January 14 to 31, 2027, across San Francisco venues. The festival publishes the run and the ticket clock on its own pages. The attendee room rate runs through a phone line at the first partner hotel and a corporate ID at the second.
The Run and the Ticket Clock
The homepage banner carries “Jan 14 - 31, 2027” over “SF Sketchfest 2027”. The festival’s own description reads “SF Sketchfest, the San Francisco Comedy Festival, returns to celebrate our 24th year January 14 - 31, 2027!” The same page says “Lineup announcing in November! Stay tuned”.
The 2027 schedule host carries the ticket date. It reads “Tickets on sale Sunday November 15 at 10:00 AM Pacific!”, with “Lineup subject to change.” and the door rule for a sold-out show: “A limited number of tickets may be available at the door. Any available seats will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive early to try your luck!” Ticket questions go to boxoffice@sfsketchfest.com.
The Attendee Rate Runs on One Phone Line
The festival’s hotel page publishes the route: “Sketchfest attendees enjoy exclusive rates on overnight hotel stays, January 15 – February 1, 2026. To reserve, please select for either Week 1 (Jan 15-18), Week 2 (Jan 19-25) or Week 3 (Jan 26-Feb 2) or call 415-922-3200 and ask for SF Sketchfest.”
The same page carries the 2026 cycle throughout. Both partner headings read “Official Hotel Partner of Sketchfest 2026”, the stay span ends February 1, 2026, and the three windows are the 2026 pairings. The 2027 run is January 14–31, 2027, so no window dates for the coming run are published yet. The phone line is where they come from.
Our own directory carries the same number against Hotel Kabuki at 1625 Post Street, 94115. The number the festival prints is the property’s own line, and the guest dials the hotel.
The Three Published Windows
Each window is its own group-booking link. Week 1 points to a Hyatt booking page under group code G-SFS6, Week 2 to G-SFS7 and Week 3 to G-SFS5, all under the property code SFOJD. The visible titles on those links still name the codes G-DU2M, G-WS1O and G-TENJ. A guest opens the code in the link target.
The festival page publishes no rate, no cut-off date and no room count. Ask the property for those three.
The Second Partner Runs on a Corporate ID
The page continues: “Hotel Enso is proud to be an Official Hotel Partner of SF Sketchfest 2026! Click here to book at Hotel Enso. Use Corporate ID 787113000 to access discounted rates.” The link resolves to an IHG route that carries the corporate number 787113000 with brand code KI and property code SFOBC.
A corporate ID carries no dates. It works as the fallback when a published window will not take the guest’s nights. Our directory’s Kimpton record in the same cluster is the Kimpton Buchanan Hotel at 1800 Sutter Street, 94115, four stars. Confirm the property’s current name with the festival.
The Sequence for January 14–31, 2027
Take the dates from the homepage banner and the ticket date from the 2027 schedule host. The schedule-and-tickets page still reads “SF Sketchfest returns January 15 – February 1, 2026! Tickets on sale now!” and still embeds the 2026 schedule. A desk working from that page will price the wrong cycle.
Call 415-922-3200 and ask for SF Sketchfest. Give the dates as dates, because the week numbers published today belong to the 2026 release. Ask for the nightly rate, the nights it covers, the cancellation deadline and whether the rate is prepaid.
If the first property cannot take the dates, use the corporate ID at the second partner. Buy the show tickets separately from the November 15 on-sale. The room and the ticket are two transactions with two sellers.
The Fallback Once a Window Closes
Three routes, in order. The corporate ID at the second partner carries no window in the published copy. A later window can cover a mid-festival arrival, because the run lasts 18 days. The door rule covers the show itself: a line forms 60 to 90 minutes before showtime, and available seats are sold first-come.
The phone line takes a request after a window link stops working.
Terms to Get in Writing
Four terms: the rate, the nights it covers, the cancellation deadline, and the cut-off after which the rate is released. The 2026 release is the reason to ask about the last one. Its published stay span ends February 1, 2026, while Week 3 runs to February 2, so a window’s end date lands one day after the festival’s own end date.
Where the Two Partners Sit
Both published partner routes are in Japantown. Hotel Kabuki is at 1625 Post Street and our directory’s Kimpton record is at 1800 Sutter Street, 223 metres apart on a straight line taken from the directory’s own coordinates. The venues spread city-wide, from Fort Mason Center at 2 Marina Blvd, 94123, to the Eclectic Box at 446 Valencia Street, 94103. Either window puts a guest on a central base for the run.
What the Desk Says
Give the guest the phone number and tell them to name their nights as dates. Keep the corporate ID as the second route and the ticket on-sale as a separate errand. Route anything the property will not put in writing back to the property before the guest pays.
