Gates run 7 p.m. to midnight and the run closes November 1, 2026. A ticket is bought for a date and a time. The room can still move.
The run and the gate hours
The attraction's home page reads: NOW OPEN - 7pm - Midnight - At the Youth Fair next to FIU. The venue lists the event on its own record as Sounds of Screams, a new event on the grounds, Sep 24 - Nov 1, 2026. The ticket page dates the run as "Now - November 1st."
The slot is the fixed half
The terms read: "Tickets are valid only for the date and time slot specified at the time of purchase via our official booking system." The checkout states the same rule in shorter form: tickets are valid only for the scheduled date and time. The booking page asks the buyer to select a time before the cart opens. A Friday 7 p.m. purchase admits nobody on Saturday.
The room goes second
The ticket carries no weather exit. The terms read: "No refunds or exchanges will be issued due to inclement weather, long wait times, or if a guest is unable to complete the attraction due to fear or discomfort." The checkout adds the organiser's right to delay, modify, suspend or cancel operations because of weather, emergencies, technical issues, governmental orders, safety concerns or circumstances beyond reasonable control. No refunds follow that clause except where the law requires one. The home page advertises No Rain, No Closures.
Buy the slot first and price the room on a rate that can move. A sold-out night cannot be rebooked, and the ticket is the part of the trip that carries the risk.
What the ticket costs
On the official booking page, Adult General Admission is $42.17, made up of $39.99 plus a $2.18 fee. Child General Admission for ages 9 and under is $0.00. The Season Pass is $104.27, made up of $99.99 plus a $4.28 fee. The home page lists General Admission at $44.99 and up and a Fast Pass at $99 with general admission included. The cart carries one category with a different date rule: a Pre-Sale Special described as "For a limited time only! Buy now, come any day!"
The closing weekend sits inside the blackout
The Season Pass carries blackout dates of October 31 and November 1, and both fall inside the run. A guest who builds a trip around Halloween or the closing night needs a single-night ticket for that date. Two further terms matter to a group arriving from a hotel: SOS House is an 18-and-over attraction, and no weapons, lighters, flashlights or recording devices are allowed inside.
The room side carries no published block
The attraction publishes no lodging page, no partner property and no room rate. The venue publishes none either. Our own directory carries no Florida record, and its Florida path returns a 404. The order to run
Pick the night and the slot first. Check that the slot is still open on the date the group can travel.

For the closing weekend, buy the single-night ticket. The season pass is blacked out on October 31 and November 1.
