Fifteen days, two clocks
The Tampa Greek Festival runs Friday, November 6, 2026, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday, November 7, 2026, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The site is St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2418 W. Swann Ave, Tampa, FL 33609. Opening day sits 15 days from October 22, 2026.
Friday holds six hours after the workday. Saturday holds eleven, from late morning to close. Seventeen hours of food, dance and church tours sit behind one room decision, and the weekend starts at 4 p.m. on a Friday.
Two nights answer both clocks
Book Friday check-in and Sunday checkout. The stay then covers the 4 p.m. Friday start and the 10 p.m. Saturday close, and the guest reaches both days without a drive in between.
A Saturday-only room serves the second day alone. The Friday evening, with the first dance set and the OPA tent, falls outside the stay.
The organiser names no hotel
No page on tampagreekfestival.com names a hotel partner. The site carries no room block, no group rate, no cut-off date and no shuttle. The front page, the FAQ, the parking map and the schedule all carry that line.
The parish publishes one transport instruction, the parking map at parking.tampagreekfestival.com. Nothing in the festival's own material routes a visitor to a bed. A property that sells this weekend sells it against no organiser offer.
The six numbered lots
Lot 1, guest parking. Enter from S. Moody Ave, behind the second building on the right.
Lot 2, takeout parking. Enter from S. Moody Ave, behind the corner building on the right.
Lot 3, disabled and elderly parking. Regions Bank, 2405 W. Swann Ave.
Lot 4, guest parking. WealthTrust at Raymond James, 706 S. Moody Ave.
Lot 5, guest parking. FL Urology Partners, 601 S. Armenia Ave.
Lot 6, guest parking. Children's Nest Day School, 2601 W. De Leon St.
The parish also keeps parking on its own campus. The numbered map carries the satellite lots, and no lot on it lists a fee.
The rideshare turn
The FAQ names the rear parking of the church as the Uber and Lyft drop-off and pickup. The route runs to W. Swann Ave and S. Moody Ave, south on S. Moody Ave, then right into the parking lot after the first large building on the corner.
Takeout follows the same turn. Orders go in at takeout.tampagreekfestival.com and come out curbside in that lot. Inside the festival, the main food line takes a request for a to-go container.
Give a driver the cross streets and the sequence. A guest who reads lot 1 as the drop-off lands in a guest lot.
What the guest needs before arrival
Send the map link with the confirmation and name lot 3 for a guest with a disabled plate. The parish keeps the disabled and elderly lot at Regions Bank and calls the site wheelchair accessible, with crowds named as the caveat.
One house rule belongs in the arrival email. Service dogs only, on a leash, outside only. No dog enters a building.
The FAQ also lists church tours, an Orthodoxy 101 class run by the parish priest and a market of Greek and Mediterranean provisions. A guest who wants the tour plans a longer Saturday.
The schedule page still carries 2025
The dance, choir and church-tour schedule PDF at schedule.tampagreekfestival.com reads 2025, with Friday November 7 and Saturday November 8. The 2026 dates sit on the festival's front page: Friday November 6 and Saturday November 7.
Send guests to the front page for the dates. The PDF lists the order of events and carries no 2026 date, so a guest who plans around a set time should confirm it with the parish office at Office@Stjohntpa.Org.
What the property sells
The parish arranges the food, the parking and the tours. The room is the part a property sells. Price Friday and Saturday, then hand over the map and the rideshare turn.
The festival sells itself on homemade Greek cuisine, pastries, hot Greek donuts drizzled with honey and nuts, dance groups from toddlers to adults, church tours and a market of Greek and Mediterranean provisions. The parish states that it has run the event for over 40 years and hosts thousands of visitors each year.
A guest who knows lot 4 at 706 S. Moody Ave from lot 5 at 601 S. Armenia Ave arrives on time. The front desk stays free.
Group requests and the Florida limit
hotelhuddle.com takes one request and sends it to 50+ hotels in the destination, with answers in 24 to 72 hours and no markup. Most hotels quote group rates from 10 rooms per night, and some discount from 5 rooms depending on season and availability.
Florida sits outside that service today. hotelhuddle.com is not currently registered as a Florida Seller of Travel under Chapter 559, Florida Statutes, and cannot process hotel booking requests from residents of Florida or for travel to Florida. Route a Florida group to the property's own sales office. Compliance questions go to compliance@hotelhuddle.com.
