Two Opening Hours Across Twelve Days
The 2027 Florida State Fair runs February 4 through February 15 at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 US Hwy 301 North in Tampa. Five days open at 11 a.m.: February 4 and February 8 through 11. Seven open at 10 a.m.: February 5, 6, 7 and February 12 through 15. Every day closes at 9 p.m.
The two hours set which nights a visitor books.
A 10 a.m. Gate Puts Eleven Hours on the Grounds
Ten in the morning to nine at night is eleven hours. A visitor who wants the full eleven arrives the night before. The Saturday and Sunday gates open at 10 a.m., so a weekend visit runs on a Friday night, a Saturday night or both.
Hold the Two Weekends First
Weekend one runs Friday February 5 through Sunday February 7. Weekend two runs Friday February 12 through Sunday February 14. Each holds three consecutive 10 a.m. days. Presidents Day, Monday February 15, opens at 10 a.m. and closes the fair.
The Fast Pass add-on names the same set: "Skip the ride lines on Fri, Sat, Sun & Presidents Day."
The Weekday Gate Opens at 11 and the Midway at 1
February 4 and February 8 through 11 open at 11 a.m. The Monday through Thursday armband carries the timing note for those dates: the Midway opens at 1 p.m. An 11 a.m. arrival puts two hours on the grounds before the rides start.
Parking Runs $8, Then $10, Then $15
The Fairgrounds FAQ prints the ladder. Advance sales through February 4 sell parking online at $8 per vehicle. Once the fair begins, online parking costs $10 and on-site parking costs $15. Three entrances serve the grounds: US Hwy 301, MLK Blvd and Orient Rd.
The ticket store states the same saving from the other side: "SAVE $7 off onsite parking purchase." Each pass reads "One Time Parking Entry Only" and excludes gate entry. A Saturday and Sunday visit buys two passes, which is $16 in advance and $30 at the gate.
Admission Math for a Family
Advance admission runs $11.75 for adults, $10.75 for seniors and $7.50 for children aged 6 to 11. Ages 5 and under enter free. The ticket store states that the listed prices include convenience fees. The $3 Thursday admission sells at the Fairgrounds only, on February 4 and February 11.
The store also states that ride armbands carry no admission. An any-day armband costs $37.50, the Monday through Thursday armband $26.75 and the armband with Fast Pass $64.25. The weekday armband covers February 4 and February 8 through 11 and excludes Presidents Day. Ride credits sell at 7 for $10, 25 for $30 and 50 for $50, and rides take 4 to 8 credits.
All Sales Final Fixes the Order of Purchase
The store reads: "All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges." That sentence settles the sequence. Book a room on a rate with a cancellation window first. Buy the tickets and the parking once the dates hold.
Camping Closes to the Public for These Twelve Days
The Fairgrounds opens event camping to its own and area events and names the annual Florida State Fair as the exception. The camping products on offer during the fair are a livestock booking for exhibitors and the vendor forms. A fair visitor sleeps in a hotel.
Seven Partners and Their Own Distances
The Fairgrounds lists seven hotel partners with a distance field on each card. Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa Fairgrounds Casino reads 0.2 miles, and its copy reads "directly across the street from the Florida State Fairgrounds." Wyndham Garden Tampa Fairgrounds/Casino reads 1.5 miles and opened in 2025 with free parking. Staybridge Suites Tampa-Brandon reads 2.7 miles with full kitchens. Hilton Garden Inn Tampa East/Brandon reads 2.8 miles, Courtyard Tampa-Brandon 4.4 miles, Cambria Hotel Tampa-Brandon 5 miles and Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa East 5.0 miles.
No partner card carries a nightly rate. Ask the property for the rate on the two weekend nights, the cancellation deadline in writing and the earliest check-in it will confirm.
The 0.2-mile property carries a second saving. A guest who walks in from across the street buys no Fairgrounds parking pass for the days they walk.
The 4 p.m. Rule for Guests Under 18
The 2027 ticket store sets the policy for all twelve days. Every guest 17 or younger enters after 4 p.m. with an admission-paying parent or guardian aged 21 or older who carries valid ID. One guardian supervises up to four such guests. A family booking needs those adults named on the plan.
What to Send the Property
Four lines settle a booking. The dates, either February 5 to 7 or February 12 to 14 with Presidents Day attached. The nightly rate and the parking charge at the property. The cancellation deadline in writing. The earliest check-in the front desk will hold.
