What Salesforce has published for TDX 2027

TDX 2027 runs March 10–11, 2027. That is a Wednesday and a Thursday.

The events page tags the TDX card San Francisco and Salesforce+. The save-the-date form’s own confirmation reads: “TDX is returning to San Francisco & Salesforce+ from March 10-11, 2027.” Salesforce's card names no venue for 2027. The Moscone Center's own events feed dates TDX 2027 to Moscone West, at 800 Howard Street.

Registration is not open. The only live action on the TDX 2027 page is a Save the date link. Its published description says what signing up buys: “big pass savings, first access to hotels, important announcements, and so much more.” The confirmation screen adds that the registration launch and the hotel details sit ahead.

Why the badge comes before the room

The 2026 FAQ describes registration as one flow: “you’ll provide a few additional details, select your hotel and conference pass, and then you’re on your way.”

The group-registration answer states the dependency outright: “Hotel booking is not available until individual registration is completed.” A second answer closes the sharing route: “No. All attendees must register and book their own hotel reservations.” Group passes on the 2026 FAQ were nonrefundable at any time.

Those three lines are the whole sequencing rule. The room opens only after a badge exists. One registration buys one room.

The 2026 ladder, in the order it ran

A 2026 Full Conference pass was $799. The cycle published its own dated ladder.

A full refund of registration fees required written notice to tdx@salesforce.com by 11:59:59 p.m. PT on Friday, March 13, 2026. That was 33 days before opening day. Notice received from March 14 to Friday, March 27, 2026 was processed at 50%, 19 days out. No refunds were processed after 12:00 a.m. PT on Saturday, March 28, 2026, 18 days out.

The hotel ran a second clock. Official rates were available until Monday, March 23, 2026, or until sold out, 23 days out and inside the 50% registration window. Hotels could charge the one-night deposit after Tuesday, March 24, 2026. From Monday, March 30, 2026, all changes moved to the hotel directly, 16 days out.

The 2027 ladder is unpublished. The order and the spacing carry across.

The Hotel Clock Runs 24 to 72 Hours

The registration ladder runs 33 days at its longest. The hotel window runs 24 to 72 hours.

The 2026 Official Hotel List gives each property a cancellation window of 24, 48 or 72 hours. The FAQ states the penalty. Cancelling outside that window “will incur a penalty equal to the cost of one night’s room and tax.”

Two further room terms matter. Every reservation must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at booking, and the hotel may charge one night’s room and tax after the cutoff date. A no-show ends the whole stay: “If you don’t check in to your TDX 2026 hotel on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel will cancel your entire reservation… You will also be charged a penalty of the cost of one night’s room and tax.”

The badge refund window runs 33 days. The hotel window closes inside three days of arrival.

Where the 15 official hotels sit

The 2026 Official Hotel List names 15 properties, each with a distance in miles and a cancellation window. Seven sit 0.1 to 0.4 miles from the hall.

Four at 0.1 miles: InterContinental San Francisco, 48-hour cancellation; San Francisco Marriott Marquis, 72 hours; The St. Regis San Francisco, 24 hours; W San Francisco, 24 hours.

Three at 0.4 miles: Palace Hotel, 24 hours; Parc 55 San Francisco, 72 hours; The Clancy, Autograph Collection, 24 hours.

The other eight run 0.5 to 0.9 miles, at 24, 48 or 72 hours each.

Two of the four closest properties allow one day of notice. Two of the three furthest allow three.

That is the 2026 list. Salesforce has published no 2027 list.

What the badge desk does to your arrival night

Badge pickup at TDX 2026 ran at Moscone West, Level 1. Tuesday, April 14, 2:00–8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 6:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Every attendee passed a mandatory security screening.

The pre-conference certification exam sat on April 14, 5:00–7:00 p.m., at Moscone West, Level 2. Trailblazer Bootcamp ran April 12–14 at Salesforce Tower.

Map that shape onto 2027. The two conference nights are Tuesday, March 9 and Wednesday, March 10, against a Thursday, March 11 checkout. The badge desk’s first shift puts the Tuesday on the plan. The FAQ also lists an Express Badge Pickup option on facial authentication, which it describes as three times faster than general pickup.

The order to run for March 2027

Save the date now. It is the published route to first access to hotels and to pass savings.

Buy the badge and book the room in one sitting once registration opens. No route to the room skips the badge.

Diarise three dates the day registration closes: the badge refund date, the hotel rate cutoff and the deposit date. In 2026 they were 33 days, 23 days and 22 days before opening day.

Take each hotel’s cancellation window in writing at booking and diarise it as hours. It is 24 to 72 hours, and the penalty is a night’s room and tax. After the hotel-direct date, every change goes to the property rather than the portal.

What Salesforce has not published for 2027

The 2027 record holds the dates, the city and the save-the-date form. It carries no pass price, no registration open date, no cancellation ladder, no hotel list, no room rates and no room cutoff. The venue record is the Moscone Center's own. Every dated figure above belongs to the 2026 cycle and is labelled as such.

Treat the 2026 numbers as shape and read the TDX 2027 FAQ when registration opens before committing money.
