One Saturday, one hall
ThriftCon Dallas runs Saturday, 7 November 2026, in Exhibit Hall B at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, 650 S Griffin Street. The organiser prints a 10 AM General Admission entry and no closing hour. More than 120 vintage clothing and collectible vendors sell in a buy-sell-trade format, with stock from the 1970s through the 2000s.
The single-day shape sets the booking. A guest who arrives Saturday morning and leaves Saturday evening needs a room around the show, and the walk to the hall, the parking charge and the checkout clock all land in the same day.
The door is the counter that stays open
Both online tiers read SOLD OUT on tickets.thriftcon.co on 22 October 2026. General Admission sold at $19 and Early Admission at $40, and both prices included Texas sales tax. The organiser's page now reads: tickets available all day at the door.
Door tickets are General Admission only, with 10 AM entry, and they hold for a single day. The organiser prints no door price. Children under 13 need no ticket, and every guest aged 13 and over needs one.
Plan the trip on the door purchase. Once the door figure is known, the ticket line in the budget stops moving.
The ticket carries no refund
The organiser's return and refund policy, last updated 7 May 2025, states that all ticket sales are final. It lists illness, scheduling conflicts and travel disruptions among the grounds that do not qualify. A discounted promotional price offered later creates no right to a partial refund or credit.
One transfer is allowed. The ticket moves to another person once, before 24:00 local time on the calendar day before the event, by written request to info@thriftcon.co with the order number and the transferee's full legal name. Resale above face value can cancel the ticket without refund.
That deadline is 24:00 on Friday, 6 November.
The booking window
Book the Friday, 6 November night. A 10 AM door on a Saturday rules out a same-morning flight from most cities, and a Friday arrival puts the guest in the walkable core at breakfast.
Ask for the cancellation deadline in writing at the moment of booking, and set it later than 24:00 on 6 November. The ticket still moves to another person until that minute. A room that must be cancelled earlier locks a guest into a trip the ticket lets them leave.
Request a 1 PM checkout and a bag hold. A noon checkout returns the guest to the lobby as the door opens, and the hall sits a short walk away.
The walk and the lots
The venue counts more than 15,000 hotel rooms in the walkable downtown core, out of more than 35,000 across the city, and names the 1,001-room Omni Dallas Hotel as adjacent to the building.
Drivers pay $20 at the on-site garage at Memorial Drive and South Griffin Street, which holds 1,200 spaces over two levels, or $17 at Lot C, 502 South Lamar Street, which holds 170. ACE Parking operates both. Pricing is per day and per entry with no in-and-out, and spaces are first-come.
A room inside the walkable core removes the parking charge and the search for a space. hotelhuddle sends one request to 50+ hotels per destination through its RFP process, and the guest pays the hotel directly at the quoted rate.
Rideshare pick-up and drop-off happens at the Lower C Driveway, between Lamar and Griffin Streets. The venue notes that the location can vary by event.
Cash, bags and the hall rules
The building is cashless, and select exhibitors may accept cash. ATMs sit in the Level 2 A Lobby and the Level 2 C Lobby. The venue runs no business center, and the adjacent Omni holds a UPS Business Center for printing and shipping.
One bag per guest enters for trade, and only with a valid Pit Pass. ThriftCon's Pit guide, published 10 February 2024, reserves an 8 ft by 10 ft area for a four-hour slot, allows no load-in, and bars carts, tables, chairs and racks. The guide also states that no Pit Passes were available for any city at the time of writing, so confirm the pass before packing.
Dallas Love Field sits seven miles from the building. DFW sits about 30 minutes away and Dallas Executive about 10 minutes. A 10 AM door makes Love Field the airport that fits a same-morning arrival.
The order to book in
Set the door arrival first. Book the Friday night against a written cancellation deadline past midnight on 6 November. Then choose the parking: $20 for the garage, $17 for Lot C, or a room inside the walkable core.
If plans change, transfer the ticket in writing before 24:00 on 6 November and cancel the room inside its own window. Two dated deadlines, both in the guest's control.
