The block, the property and the one-room cap

A Passkey page titled VIllain Arts Tattoo Convention Tampa 2026 carries the event window 19 to 22 November 2026. The property is The Westin Tampa Waterside at 725 South Harbour Island Boulevard. The room selector on the booking form caps at one room, and its label reads "Only 1 room can be reserved at a time". The page also reads "Now accepting reservations!".

A party of two rooms makes two reservations. Each reservation carries its own confirmation number, its own cancellation window and its own card charge.

The ticket clock runs first

Tickets cost $50 for the three-day pass and $25 for a single day. Children under 12 enter free. The organiser's FAQ answers the refund question: refunds apply to tickets cancelled at least 24 hours before the event begins, and tickets are non-refundable after that point.

The show opens Friday 20 November at 2:00pm. The 24-hour line falls on Thursday 19 November at 2:00pm.

Three nights, Thursday to Sunday

Show hours are Friday 2:00pm to 11:00pm, Saturday 11:00am to 11:00pm and Sunday 11:00am to 8:00pm. The block spans Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights with a Sunday checkout.

A Thursday check-in settles the room before the Friday 2:00pm open. The Sunday close sits nine hours past an 11:00am checkout. Ask the property about bag storage for those hours, and ask whether a Sunday night can be added. That night sits outside the block's published span.

Two reservations, one sequence

Run the search twice. Set arrival to Thursday 19 November and departure to Sunday 22 November, take one room, then repeat. Put the second guest's name on the second reservation.

The portal states that a reservation can be booked, modified or cancelled through the site at any time. That route carries a date change. Keep both confirmation numbers in one place, because two reservations produce two acknowledgement emails.

The two hotels on the show page

The Westin Tampa Waterside carries the Passkey block. Hyatt Place Tampa Downtown at 325 North Florida Avenue carries its own booking link, which opens Hyatt's group page under code G-VLNS.

The venue lists The Westin at 0.3 miles from 333 South Franklin Street and the Hyatt Place at 0.5 miles. OpenStreetMap foot routing measures 579.9 metres from the Westin, which is 0.36 miles at about 8 minutes, and 843.9 metres from the Hyatt Place, which is 0.52 miles at about 11 minutes.

The show page publishes no nightly rate for either property. The Westin's block rate sits inside the Passkey portal.

Parking, priced before the choice

The organiser page prints the Convention Center garage at $2 for the first hour, $3 for each hour after and a $15 daily maximum, subject to change and to flat event rates. Pam Iorio and Fort Brooke sit within walking distance on the same hourly rates. Pre-paid and reserved parking is not available.

The venue's own table prints an event rate of $5.00 to $50.00 at those three garages and at William F. Poe, and a non-event rate of $3 an hour with an $18 daily maximum. The event row applies on a show day.

Neither hotel's overnight parking charge appears on the show page. Ask for both figures before comparing the two properties.

What to confirm on each booking

Ask for the nightly rate for Thursday, Friday and Saturday separately, then the total with taxes and fees. Ask for the cancellation deadline and any prepayment attached to the block rate. Ask the property to note that two reservations belong to one party. Ask for the overnight parking charge. Ask whether a Sunday night can be added inside the block.

Run the clocks in order

Buy the pass while the refund line is open. Then two reservations, one at a time, with both confirmations saved. Then the walk from Harbour Island or from Florida Avenue, which decides whether the garage matters.
