Winter FancyFaire 2027: The Endorsed Block, $169 to $435

Winter FancyFaire 2027 runs Sunday 17 January through Tuesday 19 January at Moscone Center, 747 Howard Street, San Francisco. The Specialty Food Association names one official hotel provider for the show. That provider lists fifteen San Francisco properties with quoted nightly rates from $169 to $435.

The Provider, in the Organiser's Own Words

The show's Hotel and Travel page reads: “In partnership with onPeak, we have secured discounted rates at a selection of San Francisco hotels.” The same page calls onPeak “the only official hotel provider for 2027 Winter FancyFaire*”, and states that it offers “convenient hotel options with flexible change and cancellation policies”. Bookings run through one landing page at compass.onpeak.com/e/012607897.

The Fifteen Properties and the Band They Span

The page states what the amounts are: “Rates shown above are the lowest available nightly rates for the night of 01/18/2027.” That date is the Monday of the show. The band is a one-night sample for the middle night, and each other night carries its own quote.

The lowest quote is Hotel Abri - Union Square at $169. The highest is The St. Regis San Francisco at $435. Between them sit The Westin St. Francis San Francisco on Union Square at $249, Hotel Nikko San Francisco at $249, San Francisco Marriott Union Square at $253, Grand Hyatt San Francisco at $259, Hilton San Francisco Union Square at $259, Parc 55 San Francisco - A Hilton Hotel at $259, JW Marriott San Francisco Union Square at $269, San Francisco Marriott Marquis at $279, The Clancy, Autograph Collection at $279, Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA at $289, InterContinental San Francisco by IHG at $289, W San Francisco at $289, and the Palace Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Francisco at $299.

Two of the fifteen, The St. Regis San Francisco and W San Francisco, carried no bookable inventory on the gate's read of 15 October 2026. The other thirteen did.

What Booking Through onPeak Carries

The page lists six benefits. Pay Delay: “Ease your commitment — book now, pay later.” No Fees: “Escape from booking, change and cancellation fees.” Flexibility: “Plans change. onPeak lets you make adjustments without penalty.” Group Reservations: “Easily manage hotel reservations with onPeak's group tools.” Hotel Rewards Points: “Get credit for your hotel loyalty program.” Support: “We're here for you before, during, and after the event.”

Two of the six settle questions at the point of booking. The no-fee line covers booking, change and cancellation. The rewards line puts the loyalty credit on the reservation.

The Schedule That Fixes the Nights

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific on Sunday 17 January, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific on Monday 18 January, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pacific on Tuesday 19 January. Every hall opens at 9.30 a.m. for Buyer Badges.

A buyer who works all three days checks in by Saturday 16 January and checks out on Tuesday 19 January. That plan is three nights: Saturday, Sunday and Monday. A buyer who gives up the Sunday morning opening can arrive on Sunday and leave on Tuesday, which is two nights. The Tuesday close at 3 p.m. removes the case for a Tuesday-night stay.

The 18 January rate the provider quotes is the Monday night. Both plans need it.

No Cut-Off Date Is Published

The Hotel and Travel page states no cut-off date and no room count. Its only timing instruction reads: “We encourage you to book through them early for the best selection and price.” The fifteen property rows carry the rates. Neither the page nor the property rows say when the block closes or how many rooms remain.

The desk cannot quote a deadline. It can quote the floor, the ceiling and the booking route, and it can point the guest at the provider's live availability.

When a Guest Brings an Unendorsed Offer

The page carries a warning in the organiser's own words: “onPeak is the only hotel provider endorsed by 2027 Winter FancyFaire*. If you are contacted by other third-party companies offering hotel assistance, please be aware they are not endorsed by our event. Entering into financial agreements with these companies can have costly consequences and are not protected by event management.”

A guest who has already signed with an unendorsed seller holds an agreement the show does not stand behind. Ask for the confirmation, the seller's name and the amount paid. Route the request to onPeak support rather than repairing the booking at the desk.

Support runs through fancyfood@onpeaksupport.com, (855) 992 3353 toll-free, and (312) 527 7300 international. The page also carries an existing-reservation route, a FAQ and hotel safety resources.

The Desk Script

Four questions settle most Winter FancyFaire booking calls. First, which days does the guest plan to walk the floor? That answer sets two nights or three. Second, has the guest booked inside the onPeak route? Third, does the guest need the group tools, which is the trigger for one owner of the block rather than one booking per room? Fourth, has any company approached the guest offering hotel assistance?

The show is a trade-only event and is not open to the public. Registration runs through the Specialty Food Association. The booking decision and the badge decision sit on separate tracks.
