Small Business Expo Dallas runs Wednesday 4 November at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, in Exhibit Hall C and the C Ballroom at 650 South Griffin Street. The venue prints a 9:30 a.m. start and a 5:00 p.m. close. The organiser routes the trip in three directions: HotelPlanner for the room, Expedia for air and Expedia for the car.

The show is one day, the room night is the day before

4 November 2026 is a Wednesday. HotelPlanner lists this show as 3 to 4 November 2026, so the block opens on the Tuesday night. That is the shape a one-day trip wants: arrive Tuesday 3 November, sleep, attend Wednesday, leave.

One night, and it is the night of 3 November. A second night pays for an evening after the show has closed.

The organiser splits hotels, air and car across two vendors

The travel partners page names three preferred categories. Preferred hotels is HotelPlanner, linked to its own site for this show, with the line that attendees book discounted rates there. Preferred airline is Expedia Flights, described as special discounts for exhibitors and attendees on airfare. Preferred car rental is Expedia Car Rentals.

The same page states that HotelPlanner has been placing event attendees since 2003.

The partner page publishes the Tuesday rate

The HotelPlanner event page prices 48 Dallas properties for the 3 November night. Read at 19:30 UTC on 22 October 2026, the first page runs across 12 pages, and every card carries a nightly figure and a total with taxes and fees.

The lowest priced card inside half a mile read Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown at $98.99 a night and $115 total. Magnolia Hotel Dallas Downtown read $108.99 and $136. Holiday Inn Express Dallas Downtown read $118.99 and $139. Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas Downtown read $123.99 and $144. Closer to the hall, Aloft Dallas Downtown read $213.99 and $248, and the Omni Dallas Hotel $247.99 and $288.

A direct rate has to be asked for. The comparison runs on four lines: the same room type, the total with tax, the cancellation deadline, and whether breakfast and parking sit inside the number.

Parking carries two published answers

The organiser's FAQ states that venue parking is offered at no cost at the Dallas show, with a warning to arrive early because spaces may be limited. The venue publishes its own terms: $20 per day and per entry in the garage at Memorial Drive and South Griffin Street, 1,200 spaces, and $17 in Lot C at 502 South Lamar Street, 170 spaces. ACE Parking runs both, and both are first-come.

Confirm which line applies before the car leaves. One entry runs $17 in Lot C. Leave once and return, and the day runs $34 in Lot C or $40 in the garage.

The cheaper path, named

For an attendee who drives in, the cheaper path is HotelPlanner for the Tuesday night at the lowest published card, Lot C for one entry at $17, and no Expedia booking. The Expedia discounts cover airfare and car rental, and a drive-in trip buys neither.

Parking is the one line in the trip with a published price on both channels, and the one line that repeats if the car moves.

When the trip flies, the Expedia half applies

Flying changes the answer. Expedia is the organiser's discount channel for air and car, so a fly-in attendee uses the whole stack and the comparison becomes airfare plus rental plus the room against the same three bought separately.

Then the car question matters. Lot C sits 0.14 miles from the 650 South Griffin Street entrance on a straight line, and the Omni Dallas Hotel at 555 South Lamar Street sits the same distance from that entrance. A room on Lamar Street turns a rental car and a parking entry into a walk.

The night before the show is the quiet one

The venue calendar lists no other show on Tuesday 3 November. 4 November is a single-show day in Exhibit Hall C and the C Ballroom.

A Tuesday night with no competing show in the building is the night this trip needs.

What to confirm before paying

Ask the property for the total with tax and the cancellation deadline in writing. Confirm that the rate covers one night on 3 November. Confirm whether the room includes breakfast, since the venue publishes no food detail.

Ask about parking in the same call, because the hotel's own garage may price below the $20 venue entry. HotelPlanner's event page publishes its reservations line as (888) 721-6952 for the United States and Canada, staffed around the clock.

Dallas Love Field is seven miles from the convention center. DFW sits about 30 minutes away, and DART serves downtown. The venue warns that master plan construction and roadwork make arrival slower than a map suggests, so build that into a Wednesday morning.

The request route

A single request goes to 50-plus Dallas hotels at once. Most hotels set group rates at 10 or more rooms a night, and some go as low as five, which puts a team booking inside the threshold and a solo attendee outside it. Responses usually arrive within 24 to 72 hours, the request is free to submit, no markup is added, and the traveler pays the hotel directly.

One night, 3 November. HotelPlanner for the room, Lot C for the car, and no air or car booking for a drive-in trip.
