Furnaces North America runs October 12 to 14, 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center in Exhibit Hall B. The Nights, Dated
The published schedule puts registration and exhibitor move-in on Monday, October 12. The FNA Business Expo occupies Hall B from 11:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, and from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14. Exhibitor move-out runs 2:30 to 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The MTI final night dinner runs 7:30 to 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Marriott.
October 12 is a Monday and October 15 is a Thursday. Three nights, Monday through Wednesday, cover the expo floor and Wednesday's dinner and release you on Thursday morning. A Sunday, October 11 arrival adds a fourth night ahead of registration.
The Cut-Off Is September 25
The host hotel is the Marriott Downtown Indianapolis, published at 229 dollars. Show management lists a booking deadline of September 25, 2026, with reservations by phone at 877-640-7666 or through the show's own link. The Marriott sits across the street from the convention center.
Show management states it expects the FNA room blocks to sell out well in advance of the show dates. A block deadline pulls the booking decision ahead of the trip, so price the block rate and the open market on the same dates.
Reading the Midweek Spread
Ask for a nightly breakdown rather than one average. A three-night midweek stay can carry three different rates, and 229 dollars is one published figure for the block. Two questions settle it. Does that rate apply to every night of your stay, and does the block cover the Sunday night?
The venue's calendar gives that Sunday its own context. The FullScale Symposium and the American Dental Association Scientific Sessions both ran October 8 to 10, so their rooms release on the morning of Saturday, October 10. The expo floor at Furnaces North America does not open until Monday. Sunday, October 11 is the quietest night of the four.
Deposit and Cancellation Terms
Hotel rate types are separate from event registration, and the published block rate does not state its cancellation terms. Ask the hotel for its deadline in writing and for the nightly difference between its flexible and its non-refundable rate. Compare that difference against the cost of losing one night.
The show's own registration terms show how dated ladders work. Cancellations before September 1 receive a full refund, cancellations between September 1 and October 2 receive 50 percent, and cancellations after October 2 receive nothing. Put the same question to the room. Which date turns a full refund into a partial one, and which date turns it into none?
The Skywalk Option and the Downtown Benchmark
The venue reports 4,700 rooms connected to it by skywalk out of 7,100 downtown hotel rooms, with more than half of the downtown rooms within blocks of the center and Lucas Oil Stadium. Skywalk closing and re-opening are event-dependent, with a rule of thumb of about 11:00 p.m. and about 6:00 a.m.
A connected room removes the walk in bad weather. Price each downtown property on the same nights and add the walk it carries. The hotelhuddle directory lists the Hampton Inn Indianapolis Downtown IUPUI at 414 West Vermont Street. Ask any property you are considering for its skywalk route to the convention center and the walk time.
For the Travel Desk
MTI asks attendees to book only the rooms they will realistically use. Its hotel page states that rooms placed on hold and then cancelled near the meeting date could result in a penalty to MTI for unused contracted rooms. An accurate room count is part of the booking.
That page also carries a scam warning. FNA does not use a third party to book rooms, and the page tells attendees not to give card details to callers or emails claiming to represent the show.
