The stay is one night. A delegate who arrives the evening before books the night of Tuesday 13 October. A delegate who arrives on the morning of the event books the night of Wednesday 14 October and covers the reception. Both shapes carry a single night.
No block is published for this event
Neither indianaitsymposium.com nor SIM Indianapolis's event listing names a host hotel or a room block. Neither publishes a nightly rate. A delegate who wants a small block opens the conversation with a property.
Connected rooms and downtown rooms
Visit Indy counts 12 hotels and 5,200 rooms in the connected package. The Center's numbers block counts 4,700 rooms connected by skywalk. The facility guide counts 4,717 of downtown's 7,200 rooms on the skywalk system. The venue footer count is 7,100 downtown rooms.
Room counts on the Visit Indy list: JW Marriott Indianapolis 1,005; the Westin Indianapolis 575; the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis 499; Embassy Suites Indianapolis Downtown 360; Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Downtown Union Station 273; Conrad Indianapolis 247; Le Méridien Indianapolis 100. Courtyard, SpringHill Suites and Fairfield Inn & Suites share 621 rooms between them.
Each of those properties links to the Center by skywalk or through the connected package. Tunnel access from a hotel outside the package comes from the property itself.
The Wednesday rate
Engine measures Indianapolis at $128 a night across 1.2 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. October averages $134, five percent above that average. May peaks at $158 and February bottoms at $107.
Engine draws those figures from searches made 10 to 180 days before check-in. Engine publishes no weekday split for the city, so the Wednesday figure has to come from the properties.
The Center's calendar adds pressure to that Wednesday. Best Practices 2026 runs 13 to 15 October and forecasts 1,200 attendees. Furnaces North America runs 12 to 15 October. Both sit in the building on the 14th.
Rate structure to ask for
Ask each property for its cancellation deadline in writing. A flexible rate carries that deadline. A non-refundable rate drops the change rights and lowers the nightly number. A small block carries a room count, a release date and an attrition clause.
hotelhuddle's how-it-works page states that most hotels price group rates from 10 rooms a night, and that some price from five rooms depending on season and availability. The venue's skywalk locks down near 11:00 p.m. and reopens near 6:00 a.m., and the venue calls that window event-dependent.
Arrival, parking and transit
Denison Parking operates every Center and Lucas Oil Stadium lot and takes reserve-and-pre-pay bookings. Its number is (317) 916-1760. The Maryland Street canopy is the Center's recommended taxi pick-up and drop-off point, and the venue notes that access there can be restricted during some events. IndyGo runs the city bus service and its Open Door paratransit, with a call centre at (317) 635-3344.
The airport terminal garage holds the Ground Transportation Center for bus, car rental, taxi and rideshare. The Center reports 15 minutes to Indianapolis International Airport.
What hotelhuddle publishes
hotelhuddle sends one request to 50 or more hotels. Rate submissions carry no charge. Hotels respond in 24 to 72 hours. Terms clause 3.2 states that RFP submissions are free. The platform adds no markup to the rate paid to the hotel.
