ATD Core4 runs September 29 to October 1, 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Ave. The venue forecasts 1,000 attendees and describes the conference as the place learning and development professionals build and refine core skills, with sessions the organiser describes as immediately applicable at work.

Two conferences share your dates
The ICC's own upcoming-events calendar lists the MAPP Benchmarking and Best Practices Conference across the same September 29 to October 1 dates. It also lists the Do it Best Corp. Fall Market closing September 28. Two conventions in the building on the same days tighten downtown inventory, and the weekend before takes more of it.
Downtown Indianapolis holds 7,100-plus hotel rooms, and the ICC's attendee pages say more than half of them sit within blocks of the convention center and Lucas Oil Stadium.
The rooms connected by skywalk
The ICC counts 4,700 rooms connected to the building by skywalk. Visit Indy's connected-hotels page counts 12 hotels and 5,200 connected rooms in the same package. Skywalks lock down around 11:00 p.m. and reopen around 6:00 a.m., and the ICC states the hours are event-dependent.

JW Marriott Indianapolis — 1,005 rooms and 104,482 square feet of meeting space at 10 South West Street. The anchor of Marriott IndyPlace, five interconnected Marriott hotels holding 2,276 rooms.
Indy Marriott — 650 rooms and 42,000 square feet of meeting space.
The Westin Indianapolis — 575 rooms and 42,500 square feet at 241 West Washington Street.
Hyatt Regency Indianapolis — 499 rooms and 35,000 square feet at 1 S Capitol Ave, with direct connections to the convention center and to Circle Centre mall.
Embassy Suites Indianapolis Downtown — 360 rooms and 24,200 square feet.
Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Downtown (Union Station) — 273 rooms and 52,107 square feet, inside a National Register-listed former union station with 26 Pullman traincar sleepers on the original tracks.
Conrad Indianapolis — 247 rooms and 15,000 square feet at 50 West Washington Street.
Courtyard, SpringHill Suites and Fairfield Inn & Suites — 621 rooms combined across 601 and 501 West Washington Street, across the street from White River State Park and its 250 acres.
Le Méridien Indianapolis — 100 rooms and 2,668 square feet in the convention district.
Visit Indy lists the 803-room Signia Hilton Indianapolis inside that connected package and says the tower is expected to open in 2026. The reservations picture is published two ways: the ICC's own news post of April 21, 2026 reads stays beginning February 1, 2027, and Hilton's release of the same date reads stays beginning December 9, 2026. Confirm the date before you count on those rooms.
What each one sits beside
Addresses come from the hotelhuddle directory. The Hyatt Regency, the Westin, the Conrad and the JW Marriott sit on or beside the West Washington Street convention district. The Crowne Plaza is in Union Station, a few blocks southeast. The three Marriott select-service hotels share the block next to White River State Park.
Walkability is the point of the package. The ICC counts 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance and a 15-minute transfer from Indianapolis International Airport.
Booking around a fixed session day
The skywalks reopen around 6:00 a.m., which matters if your first session starts before that. Ask the hotel to confirm the skywalk hours for these three days, whether the link stays open past 11:00 p.m., and how many minutes the walk takes from your door to the session room. The hours are event-dependent, so the answer has to come from the property.
Ask for both the flexible and the non-refundable rate in writing, along with the cancellation deadline. A non-refundable rate only pays off when your travel is certain.
If you are coming with colleagues
Group rates apply from 10 rooms a night, and the network's group pages note that some hotels discount from as few as five depending on season and availability. A team of ten or more should send one request rather than booking the rooms one at a time.
