Four Nights on the Official Block
The Speedo Winter Junior Championships run December 9 to 12, 2026. USA Swimming runs the meet at two sites, and Indianapolis is the East site at the Indiana University Natatorium. Austin hosts the West site at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center. The course is short-course yards.
USA Swimming designates one housing partner for the meet. The event page routes its Hotel Information card to Team Travel Source, and the partner's own event page names itself the official housing partner for USA Swimming. Booking runs through the partner's portal, and the portal opens on a Tuesday, December 8 check-in against a Saturday, December 12 checkout. That window is four nights.
The Price Floor Sits Twelve Miles Out
Eight contracted properties sit on the block. Each carries the Preferred Hotel flag and a Low Rate Guarantee, and each four-night total states that it includes taxes and fees.
The Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Northwest is the cheapest priced property on the list. It sits 12.44 miles from the Natatorium at $139.00 a night and $654.52 for the four nights, and it adds free breakfast and free parking at 6930 Intech Boulevard. The Hampton Inn by Hilton Indianapolis West Speedway is the most expensive at 6.82 miles and $229.00 a night, or $1,075.72 for the same window. The four-night gap between those two properties is $421.20, and the cheaper one sits 5.62 miles further out each way.
The middle of the list narrows. Fairfield Inn & Suites Indianapolis Airport is 7.16 miles at $155.00 a night and $729.40 total. Courtyard Indianapolis West Speedway is 7.60 miles at $209.00 and $982.12. Wyndham Indianapolis Airport is 8.27 miles at $147.00 and $691.96. Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Indianapolis Airport South is 10.20 miles at $145.00 and $682.60.
The Downtown Property and Its Four Nights
The Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown is the closest property on the block at 0.85 miles, and its starting price is $169.00 a night. Its address is 515 South West Street, Indianapolis, 46225, and it adds free breakfast.
The property does not carry all four nights. Read on 23 September 2026, its room grid shows 3 rooms left on Tuesday, December 8 and 2 rooms left on Wednesday, December 9, a waitlist for Thursday, December 10, and a sold-out flag for Friday, December 11. The booking path returns no four-night total for this property and marks the range as unavailable while one night is sold out. A reader who wants the shortest commute has to move part of the stay or take another property.
Self parking at the downtown property runs $25 a day, and the block states that parking rates can change at the hotel's discretion without notice. Check-in is 3 p.m. and check-out is 11 a.m.
Refundable Terms and the Two Fee Layers
Two cancellation layers apply to every reservation on this block, and they stack.
The housing partner charges its own fee. A reservation cancelled on or after Tuesday, November 3, 2026 carries a non-refundable $50 fee on the card on file. That charge applies to full cancellations and goes through without regard to when the reservation was booked. The block states the fee is separate from and additional to any charge from the hotel.
The hotel layer varies by property. The Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown allows changes and cancellations until 72 hours before arrival without a hotel penalty, and it assesses one night's room and tax after that. The Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Northwest allows 48 hours on the same one-night basis. Courtyard Indianapolis South works to 12 p.m. at 72 hours, and its late charge is a full stay's room and tax.
Booking fees are non-refundable at every property on the list, and the policy states that this covers waitlist reservations and multiple bookings.
The Property That Wants Two Nights or More
Courtyard Indianapolis South, 11.04 miles out at $144.00 a night and $677.92 total, is the only property on the list carrying a booking restriction. The block states that it requires a two-night minimum stay. Its $144.00 starting rate is the King Bed with Full Sleeper Sofa room. Its Two Queen Beds room prices at $154.00 a night and $724.72 total. A reader trimming the stay to one night cannot book this property at all.
Hold the Confirmation Email
The block sets the order of contact. Approximately one week before arrival the reservation receives a pre-arrival information email carrying the hotel confirmation number. Before that email arrives the instruction is to keep every modification with Team Travel Source, using the links in the email receipt or the phone line at 502.354.9103. What the Sources Do Not Carry
The venue publishes the meet dates. USA Swimming publishes the dates, the course, the two sites and the contact. The housing partner publishes the eight properties, the nightly and four-night rates with taxes and fees inside each total, the distances, the room counts by night and the cancellation terms.
No source publishes a practice or warm-up schedule for the meet, so arrival-night planning has to come from the event itself.
