The 2027 Combine runs March 1 to March 8

The NFL Scouting Combine returns to Indianapolis in 2027 and 2028. The league announced the extension on 21 January 2026. Its own calendar of 2026-27 dates lists the 2027 event as March 1-8 at Lucas Oil Stadium. Indianapolis has hosted the Combine every year since 1987.

The 2025 Combine generated a record 9.26 million dollars in economic impact and drew more than 30,000 visitors and fans, on the Colts' own account. Visit Indy Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer Chris Gahl credited the expanding Indiana Convention Center and new hotel inventory downtown with keeping the event in the city.

Both dates fall on a Monday. The stay is seven nights, from a Monday 1 March arrival to a Monday 8 March release.

What the nights before arrival hold

The venue's own event calendar fills the nights ahead of the arrival. The WWETT Water and Wastewater Equipment, Treatment and Transport Show runs 22-25 February 2027 on a 14,000 forecast. Aloha Indy runs 28 February 2027 on a 1,000 forecast.

Book the Sunday night of 28 February inside the same request as the seven nights. The two audiences ahead of you are shopping the same downtown rooms.

Three published counts of the connected inventory

The venue footer carries 7,100 hotel rooms in downtown Indianapolis, with 4,700 rooms connected to the Convention Center by skywalk. The venue hotels page adds that more than half of downtown's 7,100-plus rooms sit within blocks of the Center and Lucas Oil Stadium.

Visit Indy's connected-hotels page reads 12 hotels and 5,200 rooms connected, and names them from the JW Marriott Indianapolis through The Westin Indianapolis, the Conrad Indianapolis and Le Méridien Indianapolis. Visit Indy's new-developments page reads 13 properties and 5,500 hotel rooms under one roof. Ask each shortlisted property to state its skywalk connection in writing. The count you plan against belongs to the page you took it from.

The connection has a clock. The venue states that skywalk closing and reopening are event-dependent, with a rule of thumb of lockdown near 11:00 p.m. and reopening near 6:00 a.m. On a February night that clock decides how a seven-night stay is spent.

The Signia by Hilton inventory

The venue announced on 21 April 2026 that the new-build, 800-room Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is accepting reservations for stays beginning 1 February 2027. The same notice calls it the city's tallest hotel and the Center's newest headquarters hotel, on the Georgia Street pedestrian promenade in the Wholesale District, with direct skywalk access to the Center. The City of Indianapolis owns the hotel. The Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County leads operations.

Three published sets of figures do not reconcile. Visit Indy's connected-hotels page lists 803 sleeping rooms, 235,000 square feet of meeting space and a 50,000-square-foot ballroom at 38 stories. Visit Indy's new-developments page pairs 803 rooms with a December 2026 target and a 143,500-square-foot expansion of the Convention Center. Bradford Allen's 19 March 2026 market piece carries 800 guest rooms in a 38-story tower beside the same 143,500-square-foot expansion.

Eight hundred rooms is about 11 percent of the 7,100 downtown total. Confirm the operating date and February 2027 availability with the property before any non-refundable commitment.

The rate structure and the cut-off

No source checked publishes a Combine-week rate, a cancellation window or an attrition percentage for any Indianapolis property. The league calendar places the end of the Combine on 8 March and the start of the negotiation period on 9 March. That pair fixes the week the city empties.

Ask for three terms in writing before signing. What is the cancellation deadline, and is it a date or a number of nights before arrival? What is the nightly difference between the flexible rate and the non-refundable rate? What is the attrition threshold, and what fee attaches to it? Seven nights multiplies whatever spread the property quotes.

Parking, transit and the airport

Denison Parking operates every Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium lot and arranges specialty and long-term parking. The company number is (317) 916-1760. Downtown holds more than 70,000 parking spaces, and both venues take pre-paid reservations online.

IndyGo runs the city bus system and Open Door, its ADA paratransit service, at (317) 635-3344. The Maryland Street canopy is the recommended taxi pick-up and drop-off point, and access to it is restricted during some events. Indianapolis International Airport is 15 minutes from downtown on the venue's own figure.

How to place the request

hotelhuddle.com submits one request to 50 or more hotels in a destination at no charge to submit, and hotels answer inside 24 to 72 hours. The platform states that it adds no markup and that you pay the property directly. Group rates generally start at 10 or more rooms per night, and some hotels discount from five rooms depending on season and availability.

Confirm every rate, deadline and parking charge with the hotel before committing.
