Nine show days in two buildings

The Indiana Flower + Patio Show runs March 13–21, 2027 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center, 1202 East 38th Street in Indianapolis. The show occupies Expo Hall and the West Pavilion. The Fairgrounds' own about page describes the campus as 250 acres with more than 1,000,000 square feet of event space.

Doors run 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, on Friday, March 19 and on Saturday, March 20. Both Sundays close at 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, March 15 to 18, close at 7:00 p.m.

Nine nights, from the gala Friday to the closing Sunday

Nine nights means a Friday, March 12 arrival and a Sunday, March 21 checkout. That Friday is not a show day. It is the night of Noble Evening in the Gardens, the preview gala the show has held since 1997, with restaurant tastings, live entertainment and auctions for Noble of Indiana. Ticket and sponsorship enquiries run through 317-375-2700.

A Saturday, March 13 arrival gives eight nights and skips the gala. A five-night booking covers Monday through Friday of the show week.

The free days and the reduced windows

Three days carry free admission, and each one names the group that qualifies. Teacher Day is Sunday, March 14, when teachers and school staff enter free with a valid ID. Senior Day is Tuesday, March 16, when admission is free for visitors 65 and older and the show sells no online tickets. Hero Day is Friday, March 19, when active military, veterans, police and fire personnel enter free with a valid ID and the Fairgrounds waives the parking charge.

Two more levers sit beside the free days. On Wednesday, March 17, the first 100 guests receive a voucher at the entrance for a free 4-inch potted shamrock plant, redeemed at the show office in the West Pavilion. Monday through Thursday, March 15 to 18, admission falls to $5 after 5:00 p.m. at the box office.

Standard admission is $15 at the door and $13 online. Children aged 12 and under enter free. Menards sells a single adult ticket for $7.50 in store from January 22, 2027. Ace Hardware coupons from February 21, 2027 take half off the box-office price.

The Show Info page lists the guided Showcase Garden Tours at 11:00 a.m. Monday and Thursday and 4:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, at $25 including show admission. The Show Features page lists a 9:00 a.m. start on its Monday and Thursday rows and carries 2026 date labels for the same four tours. Confirm the hour at the box office.

The $40 campground against a paid room

The show lists the Fairgrounds' own RV campground at $40 plus tax per day with hook-up and a reservation line at 317-927-7500. The published amenities include indoor showers and flush toilets, washers and dryers, electricity, sewer hook-ups, sanitary dumping stations and potable water. The Fairgrounds' camping page gives check-in from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and checkout at noon, and states that a reservation must be made before arrival.

March changes what the $40 buys. The Fairgrounds' camping page states that full hook-up sites are available April through October, weather permitting, and that electric-only hook-ups are available November through March, weather permitting, with the dump station closed during that window. A March stay is an electric-only stay, and the service hook-ups are shut.

The show names three accommodation options on its own page. Hampton Inn NE Castleton Indianapolis at 6817 East 82nd Street and Candlewood Suites Indianapolis NE at 8111 Bash Street both sit in 46250. Lazy Sunday Rentals offers 10 percent off a direct booking with the code LAZYINDYFLOWERSHOW. Neither hotel publishes a show rate, and the show publishes no room block and no cut-off date.

Which nights to hold

Parking on the Fairgrounds is $10 per vehicle per day, in the Expo Hall lot and the infield. Hero Day on March 19 is the exception, and the venue waives the charge that day.

The published calendar gives the shape of the run. Teacher Day and Senior Day land on the first Sunday and the middle Tuesday. Hero Day and the closing two days land on the second Friday and Saturday. The $5 after-5 rate covers Monday to Thursday of both weeks.

A booking that starts Tuesday, March 16 and ends Saturday, March 20 holds four weekday nights and one weekend night.

A booking placed through hotelhuddle reaches 50-plus hotels in the destination in one free request. Hotels reply with group rates, terms and perks within 24 to 72 hours. You pay the hotel directly at its own rate with no markup. Most hotels extend group rates at 10 or more rooms per night, and some go as low as five rooms in the right season.

What the show leaves unpublished

The show publishes its dates, its daily hours, its admissions ladder, its parking charge and its premium days. It publishes no hotel rate, no room block and no reservation deadline for this run, so any nightly figure has to come from the property. The Fairgrounds publishes the campground rate and the March restriction on service hook-ups, and names the reservation line. Confirm the winter hook-up status and any rate before you commit a non-refundable night.
